If i am not mistaken you can buy them at centre provider at KL (if transport & location is not a problem)
Mcorange : sells BPP (its located near masjid jamek station : beside TM headquarters)
FTMS : possible BPP (opposite central market : between KFC & MCD)
KSA : possible kaplan (near Pasar Seni, at plaza nationwide 11th floor)

If you are looking for books on tax / law you can buy on your own (most examiners publish their own books : but mostly for tax like Chong Kwai Fatt & Richard Thornton (he is P6 examiner).

very good to have this forum to let us voice out our feeling here.. rclxms.gif

Want to tell all frez here, the new procedure set in McO, one of my frez is studying at McO, she sign up for P1 ( cost more than RM 1000 for class from July until EDC), she said last time can transfer EDC to other paper with admin charge of RM 20

However, she go to see the manager there (dunno why the staff said must see manager, coz last time the staff allow student to transfer), end up the manager charge her RM 100 for penalty plus another RM 100 to top up the fees... P1 transfer to F8 EDC also need to top up??? it cost RM 200 to transfer ONLY THE EDC, some more from higher level to lower level (P1 EDC in McO already RM 400 over, while F8 EDC only RM 320)???

Just want to tell all of u here to be aware, they are really cheating the student! they thought all students are stupid

Last time i have a book on possible acca career chart (FTMS) : (without experience applied)
CAT / ACCA part 1 : (F1 to F3)
- Accounting technician
- Tax assistant
- consting administrator
- audit assistant
- budget personnel
- administrative assistant

ACCA part 2 : (F4 to F9)
- A/c executive
- Audit & Tax senior
- Assistant futures trader
- budget assistant
- management a/c executive
- credit assistant
- assistant tax officer
- biz development executive

ACCA part 3 : (P1 to P7)
- Internal / Statutory auditor
- Company secretary
- financial planner
- management consultant
- inland revenue officer
- investment analyst
- management accountant
- accountant
- tax manager / consultant
- budget controller
- receiver / liquidator
- bank officer
- securities dealer
- lecturer (he he tongue.gif )

If have ACCA + MBA / CFA / CIMA / ICAEW / anything worthwhile :
- CEO
- CFO
- MD
- GM
- Financial controller
- any director

You see even with acca its not enough to climb up the corporate ladder with your qualifications "alone" unless you are versatile.

Hi...

Is anyone planning to go for KSA F8 (Ray Ng) revision class on 7-9 Nov? and F9 (Andrew Pang) revision class on 10-13 Nov?

I haven't make up my mind whether to attend the above revision class b'cos i'm from Johor.

Any comment for Ray Ng & Andrew Pang in these 2 particular subject? Were their revision effective? Good or not good?

Added on October 31, 2008, 2:05 pmHi... If i plan to go KL for revision class, is anyone can suggest a hotel which are:
- cheap (< RM100per night),
- room rate include free parking (i'll drive to KL)
- Not too far from KSA
b'cos i probably will stay in kl for 6 nights(7 nov - 12 Nov) just for the revision class.

Thanks in advance!

Getting some feedback from Ray Ng ex-student, they say Ray Ng is good and the technique oso a lot of difference from Philip Woo and Sheila. For those already try Sheila/Philip Woo F8 class but still fail, so may be can try him la.

For Andrew F9, I'm his 2.4 and current P5 student, so what I can said was he is very good in calculation part but theory part just so so only.

If i am not mistaken KSA will conduct their revision class (especially big ones) in level 12.
I thnik they can cater more students than auditorium but still has to book if you want good seats.
One thing i realise that the nearer you sit the more focus you are in KSA (tried & tested strategy biggrin.gif )
