QUOTE(carlosandy @ Oct 17 2008, 11:22 AM) Ya, more than 25 rows in KSA Auditorium. For the seats, I advise you better come at least 1 hour early b4 the class start. Normally front row already book by ppl come more early, but if you can sit middle is consider OK already. i aso dun have friends over there...so really have to go very very early~~ |

QUOTE(Topace111 @ Nov 3 2008, 11:07 PM) Ri will be finished tomorrow but since only 3 hours left i think i can share quite a bit first. Michael mainwaring revision class start this coming saturday till monday. Will let you all know when i got the info~~ His Ri is 98% similar to his normal class sessions, i remeber his quote " If you can remember or understand most of his RI material not only you will pass you can do even better". He touches only 50% or lesser from his main notes during normal class. I don't know abouth others but the class is quite repeatitive for me (i was blessed with a long memory span) so i can still remember word by word what he say the most. My friends also share my opinion. Why am i talking about this (like parmindar already). His focus area : Since P3 is quite vast & specifying each specific are is quite difficult but this is normally what he said - "I strongly feels strategy bounds to come out as a direct question since no question has been touched on strategy for the past 2 sitting" He strongly urged to read areas related to Diamond, market forces, 7S, Pestel, equity & non equity alliance. - "Your examiner is ex IT examiner and IT / IS is his comfort zone in exam & question will bound to touch on IT whether direct or indirect" He strongly implied project management, e-commerce, e-marketing, V model, CMMI & quality software. There are of course other areas but i left it for you to read yourself One of my advice to all students regardless of what paper you took, DON'T BELIEVE & FOLLOW WHATEVER YOUR LECTURER ASK YOU TO STUDY OR REVISE or else you will end up failing. Take last year F8 and P2 paper for example, so many people failed bcos they believe all their lecturer spots & exam turn up something very different. When i told my lecturers that i did not believe what they spot, they were quite amused & encourage me to follow this attitude. By the way any michael mainwaring revision students can share a bit of info I have problem remember all the models ah~~ Added on November 4, 2008, 8:00 am QUOTE(Felicia - HL @ Nov 3 2008, 01:05 PM) Thanks for ur info. I think for me especially outstation student it's more cost saving to stay there... ha?? is the college open at 10 ah??? i called them they said it open at 8 boh.... but parking is my problem....anyone got suggestion on where should i park my car? I mean near to the Stay Orange Hotel and not very expensive charge for per entry or per house.. By the way, just want to know how early should i be there for F8 Ray Ng revision class on this friday? i worry i might not be able to reach there so early as i'll travel from JB to KSA on late afternoon. Or any kind person willing to help me reserve a place for me ar? And can i know how early should i be there for F9 Andrew Pang morning revision class 10am - 5pm?Cos i've ask the admin ppl and they said the college is open on 10am......is that mean if we come early have to stand on outside the college or classroom? I am attending philip woo F8 revision class... anyone willing to help me reserve a seat too???? Felicia-HL, you already register for the revision class??? P3-michael's area to focus are as follow:
1)biz strategy - strategic analysis + choice - pestel, swot - means and methods - acquisition, organic, network alliances 2)process analysis & redesign - swimlane 3)project management software quality - what is software quality 4)v-model 5)CMMI 6)package vs bespoke software 7)benchmarking 8)HRM/E-biz |
