From wat i learned when i adopt to this hobby and understand in TU.
I believe who love mini4wd wil put Tamiya as priority, Tamiya really good in quality(if not, won hv other brand kep copy their design).

In fact, i wil say Tamiya r abit expensive for me, but im happy to own it and wil keep buy anything tat i think is useful for me...
All we need jus control our expences wat. Depend how u afford only.

As wat I saw those "siao kia whos really noob" r jus trying to break the track one(wif their non-rules machine). If i'm a bad temper person, as a player i wil oso ask them off don say someone who work there...
If u r in our situation, u wil knw wat we talking about.(to being repected)

Haha, when I was young, I'm those Siao Kia at that time, but not break ppl track, is just use those metal thing on mini 4wd and play it very crazy, on that time we call those car as "samurai", why call like that? I don't know, that time I still young, 13~15 years old just follow ppl play like that, that time less tamiya item at my area, if want get just go to petaling street get, else all is "samurai" part around my area.....

After my area less mini4wd, then I stop to play, that time I go to 1 of my friends house, he just pure play in tamiya mini 4wd, ( got big foot car also ) then I only know "the other way" to play mini 4wd, my friend teach me play in tamiya mode, although is slower than "samurai", but is more challenging, because of tech track setting, ( ppl play in "samurai" also just a speed track + 360ºc track changer, won't appear tech track setting 1, if not will see around flying "samurai" there ).

Tamiya mini 4wd pro item expensive? Ya is very expensive to other brand but if you count in own tamiya's mini 4wd item.... I think car is expensive but those accessory still same price....I remember last time get 1 Hyper dash need rm20+-, car model also rm20+-, bumper with special thing also around rm20+-.....But last time rm20 and now rm20 is very big different .

Haha here is my little experience on mini 4wd

Angel86 ....when i first started playin at T.U in April , i brought my audley car and played there but i was given a good reason not to play anything else beside Tamiya which was David's boss indirectly disapproves us playing other brands esp. when you are running a business and you're trying to sell your product when others are bring other brands into the picture and i understood that coz im running a company as well.
Basically David will get firing from his boss if he doesnt enforce that simple rule.

It's like what david said , you buy chicken rice from one shop and bring it to a mamak shop and order ais kosong from them.. you get what i mean?

Angel86, plz understand that 95% of the racers here are playing Ms-pro cars and others are playing old chassis which is sold here in T.U. if you are interested , come and play otherwise dont cause unnecessary arguements which can be solve in matter of one reply from me.

when i was active in racing there are few places to race different types of mini4wd.
ioi mall speed 3 wheel
sunway piramid technical
summit usj technical and super tamiya
pearl point technical and super tamiya
the mines technical

If you really read my posts above,the issue wasnt about the rules of using the track.I accept the rules because the track belongs to them.

Angel86, nothing to argue actually. Jus we r making clear of wat we try to share wif u n others(haha). So jus do make urself comfortable here anyway. Welcome for more post...
I believe anyone tat interest in mini4wd wil eventually pick Tamiya as their brand one, other brand won run out as good as Tamiya, jus belive it. =p

Wa so many track ah, but last time I play also just go to those black shop play... ( dark room.... lol, many ppl smoke at there.... ai... )
When competition also those ppl borrow those parking lot and make a track there.... that time quite fun, but I didn't join those competition before .

ok...i re-read the post..fine.. you got no objections to following rules... this guy TXfirst...said he wanted to put old chassis motor into ms-pro chassis then david said he would laugh , even i would laugh coz it will be slow.

then TXfirst said oh new concept and David said maybe but go try that somewhere else. my opinion would be what's the point of ms-pro chassis when you put motor eg. say ultra dash into it? it's not even a new concept ,its like using old chassis. it's stupid for this guy to think that it's a new concept.

but you going and tell david something about profit etc... not related to the topic.. who would get angry?

Angel86, we are happy seeing new comers playing mini4wd with "wat ever brand" on the track.... We understand some racer don hav such many$$$ to change from "wat ever brand" to tamiya for full modified car... Wat david mentioned is to regular racer. Some of them came everyweek for 2~3 months still with "wat ever brand" on the track...

Don't feel offended. Tamiya Underground din't mentioned "Only Tamiya Brand Is Allow to Play"... It is not fair to new comers...
He was indirect to shoot those regular racer which using "WAT EVER BRAND"...

Hey,wat i say is the ms pro's motor axe(THE thing with 2 shaft)on a plasma dash(the fastest motor for tamiya)so it maybe be faster.If anything wrong,juz forgiv me.If TU didi not like this kind of thing,i will respect it.Wat u all should kno is this is a forum,every1 can giv their opinion,but not laugh or criticise(maybe wrong spelling) other's opinion.

While i heard sunway pyramid's toycity,i gonna to cry because the track broken my 1st tamiya(cyclone magnum trf) in 2006.But my father bought me a hurricane sonic gold plated.(That time no ms pro)

fyi the first ms pro is released in december 2005 and i got mine that same month in malaysia

well i lough becouse there is people doing this kind of funny things at the track put plasma slower then ms pro motor
the most funny is a guy with a stock vs put dono what motor i think is those 100 ringgit killer motor 800000 rpm with rechargeable batt let it run in the track fly out then chase the car and sometimes hit other peoples car for me he is really making a fool of himself he is more than 21 years old
we all lough at him would u if u see it

nice cars u have there

as i always say to the guys the most powerful motor does not mean u have the fastest car if your car is no modified properly
