iand to get hdmi input...u must have at least a 24" monitor...having that said, u would need a really decent graphics card to project that kind of resolution (1920x XXX)....extra cost would inccur...
*
Decent graphics cards to play games at that resolution, or to play HD/Blueray movie at that resolution?

any1 here use samsung T240?? i like to know the comparison between the T240 and Dell 2408WFP

the price is quite different..as samsung have much more cheaper price..but with Dell ARB model..the price is the same but with limited warranty

going to by my 24" lcd..
*
Of Coz Dell 2408WFP is better... its packed with many features that Samsung T240 dun have & in terms the color quality, viewing angles itself T240 is onli TN Panel so no match Dell 2408WFP Premium S-PVA panel.

Bought 943nwx from the PC fair. Now using it.
Just found out a small black line which looks like hair on the side of the LCD screen. I thought the screen was dirty and tried to rub it off but failed to do so. Is the black line considered as dead pixel ?

kuching salesman at pc fair no easy to get accurate info.
that selling HP product salesman very funny when yesterday i go.
" Don't look that LCD! (w1907) that only 17" !! try buy 22" at there." shakehead.gif
" Buy this system(CPU) with latest graphic card GeForce 8400!" hmm.gif

at another side also make me sad.
me:" Does't this LG 1942T using DVI showing movie now?"
Salesman:" hmm.. DVI? I no sure.. how about you look for your self?"  shocking.gif

Fine, i found that LG is using Analog. I trying ask they use DVI to compare samsung 943NWX but they no allow.
because they told me there is no such difference using DVI or Analog. vmad.gif

Forgive they. they just part time worker. wink.gif
*
Oh, thats definitely not me, because I was at 3e booth selling hardware. I'm also part time worker, but not easy to get attacked one, haha. tongue.gif
This time, Kuching having its own Sarawak ICT Expo, instead of Pikom's PC Fair.
How big difference between DVI and Analog, I'm not too sure. But difference between S-Video and HDMI is great for 32" SHARP AQUOS LCD TV! With S-Video showing only at 1024 x 768 vs HDMI's 1368 x 768 ! shakehead.gif Shaper image and more vivid color shown by using HDMI cable.

i tried to bargain with the fellow la...the young one wearing specs....he gave me the price of 985 but i told him to let me consider the price and would return later....mana tau when i return all the stocks are out already...so i resorted to samsung 2253bw instead... biggrin.gif
haha...same as me...i'm lovin it too....i'm doing dual monitor with a samsung 931bw...but it eats up alot of space.... smile.gif
for some reason, viewsonic's lcd has been very popular with forumers here....and i've heard that viewsonic's quality cant match that of samsung's
hdmi would only matter if u're hooking up a ps3 / xbox to play the games in high definition mode...or if u're watching a HD movie or blueray movie.....other than that....its the same....

and to get hdmi input...u must have at least a 24" monitor...having that said, u would need a really decent graphics card to project that kind of resolution (1920x XXX)....extra cost would inccur...

of coz cannot match viewsonic with samsung. u see it price also u will know that.

Nah, it wont be blurry. Quite sharp in fact, as long as you use native resolution. I use a HTPC with a Sharp Aquos LCD TV. Looks great and the games look fantastic even at only 1368 x 768. However, i won't recommend it for normal PC usage though. An LCD monitor is still preferable due to higher res and you're not going to sit 6 feet away from your PC.
*
What is HTPC?? That means the resoliton really a matter and need to sit far in order to view better if use LCD tv rite? this is bcos when sit nearer the font/image will be blurry??

HTPC mean Home Theathe/Personal Computer. u use to put it at livibg room normally. make it to play movies, record movie, playing game, or what ever u want.

Hey, me too, I'm using BENQ T221W. I think the setting is yellowish, if you set the color temperatur to warm. But even when not 'warm', it's slighlty yellowish. I've reduced the RED to 61, GREEN to 90, BLUE to 90. It is much less yellow now. bright=45, Contrast=70. But maybe a little to blue now...that's why looking for software that can do the color corrections!

U may use black color wallpaper to test it out manually..See how much dot is not in black color..
Then use other color to be ur wall paper to see any dot doesnt change to the color of the wallpaper..

Actually, it's quite hard to see...one pixel is so small!!!...i think as long as you don't notice it, it's okay lah. I don't really check myself also, just generally look, play some games, seems good, then don't bother. smile.gif Maybe i'm just not very demanding.
