Looks like that orange monitor from acer is for sale, the G24. If you look at the latest acer brochure, or the pc fair one, the bundle with the acer predator makes it cost rm1348 was it, looks like a good price for a 24"

i'm runnin on ol` fx5200. last nite i hooked it up with dvi, and i tot mayb i'd try analog, so diz morning i hooked it up to analog. still, the words aren't very clear. don't really know how to adjust the settings. i'm running on 1600x900. my pc cant put up 1680x1050 coz don hav this option.

did u enable cleartype feature found in windows?

since i'm plannin to get a new lcd n a g.card

i wanna query somethin

is it possible to lets say connect a hdmi supported g.card like the ATI4870 to a LCD monitor which supports hdcp but no HDMI port

using given adapter for the g.card , i connect tru an hdmi to dvi-d cable
will i see any difference?

Hmmm.... Are you using NVIDIA's Detonator/Forceware drivers or Microsoft's own driver? I have no problems running 1680x1050 on these GeForceFX series card, tested before with my friends FX5700 and FX5200.. even the old GeForce2 works...

i dunno, so far it seemed to hav the best image quality compared to other samsung's model. tat's wad i think lar.

ok, i juz installed back to the NVidia Forceware driver (*which is old, 77.72_whql), and it can now support 1680x1050. previously i'm running on microsoft's driver. i've also enabled "clearview" and the fonts are find now. but mayb coz its too big and too bright, i still cant get used to it. Brightness at 75 and Contrast at 85. any recommended setting?

I don think 943BWX is good compare with ViewSonic VX1940w is better. LG not sure.

ps: not all Samsung monitors looks good, their certain model their not available in Malaysia.

planning to get one LCD this coming pc fair, should i get 19" samsung or 22" benq LCD? hmm..
both seems like RM600++..
any guide help me choose over or other LCD recommend? <RM700
my graphic card is colourful 8600gt.

Samsung 943BWX in term color quality not as good as other brands available in market now. The D.Contrast 8000.1 I'm sure pretty u might not use it, its very dark when watching movies & too bright while text reading.

Nope no difference. HDMI=DVI + sound. HDCP is only for BlueRay disc. If you don't have BlueRay, it's not even important.
