QUOTE(Matrix @ Aug 21 2008, 07:11 AM) Get BENQ. Just got mine for RM670 at PCFAIR. Cheapest branded (other than those dunno what China brands) u can get for ur money. Thanks for sharing Matrix. I know this is not a high end product, but just wanna share.Dont flame me pleaseI bought the ViewSonic Va2226w for RM715 at Low Yat.No dead pixels(checked with software) I did compare it with BenQ,me and my friend agreed that the detail of the pixels is much clearer.(Dont know how to desribe, but it really alot different compare to BEN Q,No offence Matrix) Its really huge compare to my old classic CRT 17". Although i am not good in graphic stuff,i am very satisfy with it. The problems were the power cord is for US,so i bought a converter that cost me RM5 for it. The other problem is this is my first time using the LCD,i dont know how to adjust tthe contrast and brightness. I notice there's a very 'sharp' or 'painful' feeling whever the screen is in white colour(like now when i am replying this message.) So is this normal or i should adjust it? Any ViewSonic users here can give tips about this? The currest settting of my brightness is 90,contrast is 80. Is that too high or too low. Please advice. Thank you sany1424, I believe that LG is better comparing to ViewSonic if we compare it brand to brand. Its better to check for the ms(the lower the better) and 1:10000 ratio(the high the better). Correct me if i am wrong. emdee01, With this amount of money, i believe u can buy alot of brand out there, except for the high end like LG or Samsung. dfcloud, What about Viewsonic?Do u mind?I just bought my ViewSonic 22" at LowYat for RM715. Quality is okay.If compare to BenQ its better(compare side by side),Slightly 'poorer' compare to Samsung(personal opinion). -oc-gassa, What about giving them a call? |

I know this is not a high end product, but just wanna share.Dont flame me please not really agree dude, sometime when u feel LCD A is better than LCD B when compare side by side, it may due to the setting different like contrast or brightness etc. you should check the LCD spec in order to get more detail.I bought the ViewSonic Va2226w for RM715 at Low Yat.No dead pixels(checked with software) I did compare it with BenQ,me and my friend agreed that the detail of the pixels is much clearer.(Dont know how to desribe, but it really alot different compare to BEN Q,No offence Matrix) Its really huge compare to my old classic CRT 17". QUOTE(gsan @ Aug 23 2008, 01:01 PM) how to check if the lcd got backlight bleeding problem? Display a fully black background in full screen (use dead pixel testing software). The back light bleeding usually visible when lights are off.... If you can still see back light bleeding even with lights on, then that is not very good. |

This is my 2nd post since it seems no one answered me on my 1st post but no matter
I've got a new question instead. I'm planning on buying a HD LCD monitor for my xbox 360 and pc. I'm just wondering if it's worth or not buying a FULL HD monitor since I'm using a VGA cable for my xbox 360. I didn't use the HDMI cable because I can't connect my xbox 360 with a speaker and use the HDMI port at the same time. |
