And I'm curious as to what would constitute as proceeding properly? It was going to be ugly either way with SAF adamant he doesn't want to sell him and Ronaldo hoping to fulfil his dream.

That's a ridiculous notion. With his talent he wouldn't have stayed at Lisbon very long anyway. And Man Utd doesn't have some secret training method to make Ronaldo who he is today. He is what he is because of his dedication and determination to be the best. That's his biggest quality imo not the fancy dribbles and all that stuff.

No offense but the only club noticed Ronaldo back then was none the other of Liverpool if I'm not mistaken. However, we managed to sign him.

What I meant by proceeding properly is payback the faith and trust that the fans dan United staffs had given to him.

And yes, I would still have doubts over his quality if he didn't joined United. Unless he went either to Barcelona or Arsenal.

i dont know why madrid not interested to sign silva.. he's good to me..even maybe better n understand more about la liga game play (my opinion).. ang he's price oso not as mountain as CR7.. huhu..

silva is left back.. real already has many left back.. robben .. robinho... drenthe..

so CR really suits for right flank then.

AFAIk drenthe aside, all the players u listed above are playing on left wing instead of left back rite??

errr....silva plays Atking midfield and only play left as secondary position ......robben is left wing ....robinho (back in santos) natural position is either striker or atking midfielder..........drenthe is the only left back in the list.........

Because the most expensive players are always the cheapest. Ronaldo is worth an estimated 500 million Euros in marketing income if he was to sign a 5 year deal.

Agreed. Only exception was that Holland didn't reach the semis to face Spain. Saint Iker has never ever disappointed me and Ramos continued to improve throughout the tournament.
