he really need to score dozens of goals...
else... that hefty 90mil can easily buy A FEW GOAL SCORERS wherby their collective goals can easily bypass ronaldo's goal tally.

after man u offloaded ronaldo... they can easily buy a few good players.

That's a too simplistic way of looking at things. How many strikers/goal scoring midfielders can u play at one time anyway?? If Ronaldo scores 20-30 goals and helps us win another trophy or better yet the CL it would be worth it. And this without mentioning his age and his marketing potential.

not trying to diss off ronaldo signing into the team.
but i'm not hoping for another era of galacticos....

i like ronaldo in some sense, and was amaze by his abilities ever SINCE when he's still a SUB at the bench at man u.
but currently, i think he's jus overpriced, and real madrid shud really consider and fully evaluate his value again.

with that 90mil... they can practically buy a few top class players, rather than investing IN ONE TOP.
robinho is comparable with ronaldo. jus that he doest score as much goals as ronaldo does. doesnt mean he shud be a chip to be bartered with.

i'm jus hoping that madrid dont make any stupidity mistake they did during the galacticos era. wherby they think that cashing in for the top players and paying to buy the top players with release clause amount of money is ways to win trophies.

not that i dont hope that ronaldo is in madrid.
i jus think that paying 90mil for him is overpriced.
and Man U would have the advantage of the 90mil to strengthen their squad.

not to mention, robinho, sneider, robben are doing great at their position....

Hey, for time being the 90ME is not official yet .But, two thing for sure though, he will come(it's just a question of when not if anymore) and we will break the transfer record..

About Ronaldo.. He will play his game means he will score goals and add some flair in Madrid's football.. Why is everybody thinking that the only thing he can do or he should do is scoring goals.. Yes, goals makes the most difference in football matches but does the word assist deserve to be forgotten? Ronaldo assist many goals in his United career.. Don't you guys think that this can also help RVN, Raul or Higuain at some point of game.. Maybe a few realized that he can actually assist more than he score, just that IMO in ManUtd there's no true no.9 and that's why Ronaldo can easily be their top scorer..

I see where you going with that statement... whistling.gif
Yes, agree with you, Madrid really need to offload some of its players after landing Ronaldo.. Maybe Robinho will wear a blue shirt next season... But, I really hope it will not be Chelsea's.. (Madrid's away kit is also blue brows.gif )

Btw, lately there been several rumours about Baptista leaving an currently the only club that interested with his service is Roma.. It's a right thing to do as Madrid needs to clear some of its MF/ST position to make room for players like El Pipita and Granero..

Understand this fact, Ronaldo is worth an estimated 400-500mil Euros in marketing potential presumably over around 5 years. 90 million Euros pales in comparison with Ronaldo's marketing potential.

How did this:

turn into this?

Ronaldo has definitely been doing some work off the football pitch as well. wink.gif

If I'm not mistaken it's Kleberson right?

Anyway, we did get more than what we payed for R.Carlos, L.Figo, Zizou, Ronaldo, and D.Beckham.. So, I worry less about ManU's 90ME strength because we gonna earn at least 3 or 4 times that number if he do serve us for minimum 5 years.. That's one the reason why ManUtd didn't wanna sell him to any big clubs in the world.. He is both talented an profitable as well.. Now, we hitting a jackpot aren't we?

lets jus hope that you guys are correct.

1 thing to consider about is the dressing room talks as well.

with ronaldo coming in...
they might be some good players getting left out of the team.
so i really do they need to do some offloading.

If it goes down the same way as it has with the other Galacticos, Ronaldo is almost wearing white now as Calderon has been 'denying' the transfer in the last few days.

The usual trend is as follows (The 10 easy steps to sign a Galactico wink.gif ):

1. Real Madrid uses the media to declare interest in player.

2. Nothing happens for a few months.

3. Madrid again uses media to declare intention of signing the player.

4. Player/player's agent declares interest in a move to Madrid.

5. Player's club panics, calls Madrid a disgrace etc.

6. Player's family and friends used to reinforced the player's desire to move to Madrid through interviews once player stops giving media statements to keep adding fuel to the fire.

7. Real Madrid denies luring the player.

8. Few weeks or so pass by with little news.

9. When it seem negotiations have stalled, Madrid issues a statement stating we have 'given up' the pursuit of the player.

10. Player is unveiled in the Bernabéu.

I like your post. And you're damn right regarding our no. 9, he is practically useless since a few past seasons. sweat.gif

Yupe. And here I thought the Glazers already reiterated SAF's statement in not selling Ronaldo? laugh.gif But then again, anything could happen and I am confident that United is going to be fine without Ronaldo. nod.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

I was equally surprised when I first heard it. But a socio over in soccerpulse says that a Madrid board member confirmed it to be true. I don't really know what to make of it; I don't expect anything as of now either. Let's just wait and see what happens.

Real Madrid are beginning to lose patience in their quest to prise Cristiano Ronaldo and are set to turn their attention to signing other players, like Hamburg's Rafael Van der Vaart.
