developer , working in your request .. will add reset button disabled option in administration screen... but a silly question, how will you enter in your router if you forgot your password? ..... funny... Use the SES front button and select 'Reset to default', then after you pressed continously for more than N seconds reset is done, is ok for you?

Use the SES front button and select 'Reset to default', then after you pressed continously for more than N seconds reset is done, is ok for you? that would be wonderful. thanks!by the way victek, the ip mac bw limiter is indeed buggy. i has set the tcp limit to 10 and udp limit to 5/sec and the person still can download torrent at high speed. i thought when the tcp limit is 10 then the router will only allow a maximum number of 10 concurrent tcp connection right? thanks victek for the reset button disable feature. IN QOS Classification,
Set your friend "Src IP or MAC" + Port number (10000-60000) + Class (Lowest) IP/MAC Limiter: only set piority low speed test no affect. |

QUOTE(Christopher_LKL @ Aug 14 2009, 05:53 AM) hi ... i have a WHR-HP-G54 ... may i know which 1 should i flash? You can use either, but I would recommend 1.25.8515.2 ND. The ND version has better compatibility with various wireless cards and tends to have better wireless performance.# Tomato RAF 1.25.8025.2 # Tomato RAF 1.25.8515.2 ND hmm can directly flash from factory firmware? You will need to TFTP to the router the first time you flash it with third party firmware. After that, you can flash from the user interface. |

when running bitorrent, the program will hog the bandwidth and establish many conenction to other peers.
These connections are preventing my other programs such as Steam to establish connection to its server. At the moment, i have to reboot the router to fix the issue. I also have QOS done. But it doesn't really helps when i have the torrent running or stopped However, when i quit the bitorrent program, the connections are still there. The question is is there a way to discconect the connections without having to reboot the router? Thanks This post has been edited by tyss: Aug 16 2009, 03:52 PM |

Hy. Tomato is a great firmware. But it only works on broadcom routers with at least 4Mb flash. I own the GC version of Asus wl-520. It's the same as 520gu but no usb and only 2Mb flash. Do you think that it is possible to strip some features like bandwidth monitor, themes, overclocking so that the firmware will fit on a 2 Mb flash? Thanks.

I don't own that router, but yes, you can use the ND version of Victek's firmware on it (Tomato RAF 1.25.8515.2 ND). Do NOT use the non ND version (Tomato RAF 1.25.8025.2) as it will likely brick the router. That particular chip-set requires the updated wireless drivers to function correctly afaik. |
