QUOTE(Victek @ Feb 26 2009, 07:03 PM) Then just do an nvram erase before and after update the firmware and the default settings will ensure you an smooth wireless operation. i did a nvram erase before i upgrade firmware and right after i upgrade, i do a nvram erase again. i can use the wireless but after like 3 hours or more, the wireless connection become extremely unstable and ping sometimes even reach 1000ms |

QUOTE(PSB @ Mar 31 2009, 06:02 PM) I installed verseion 1.23.8515 ND version for my WRT54GL1.1 yesterday. (Victek's) i also have this issueWhen I did QoS settings I did it so that tcp/udp on the port which I'm bting on gets set to class E. However for some reason some TCP entries end up as HIGHEST instead of class E. They're also listed as UNCLASSIFIED(though I believe this is a queue to place them in the correct class.) The QoS setup I am using only allows NTP and DNS(the default setting) to be HIGHEST. Any thoughts? Is Victek around? I would like to hear his say on this matter. (It seems my corerev was >= 9 so I stuck with the ND version, but the regular versions work fine too last time. Then again I wasn't really using wireless much) At any rate I hope to get an explanation about this. Furthermore after disconnecting and reconnecting several times(everyone knows why) it stops responding. Has been like this since v 1.23 victek's. I have to reboot to get it to work, or reflash. This one is a persistent issue. Added on March 31, 2009, 8:35 pmand i notice this issue started to appear when victek optimize his code This post has been edited by developer: Mar 31 2009, 08:35 PM |

my wireless signal lost or dc every few hours. the old version work nicer than the new version. 1.22 version is fine for me. but since 1.23 the point after victek do some code optimization, my router wireless is unstable.

QUOTE(Victek @ Aug 12 2009, 01:59 AM) developer , working in your request .. will add reset button disabled option in administration screen... but a silly question, how will you enter in your router if you forgot your password? ..... funny... Use the SES front button and select 'Reset to default', then after you pressed continously for more than N seconds reset is done, is ok for you? that would be wonderful. thanks!by the way victek, the ip mac bw limiter is indeed buggy. i has set the tcp limit to 10 and udp limit to 5/sec and the person still can download torrent at high speed. i thought when the tcp limit is 10 then the router will only allow a maximum number of 10 concurrent tcp connection right? thanks victek for the reset button disable feature. QUOTE(tyss @ Aug 16 2009, 03:51 PM) when running bitorrent, the program will hog the bandwidth and establish many conenction to other peers. normally i just set the tcp connection timeout to be shorter. like 2 minutes or somethingThese connections are preventing my other programs such as Steam to establish connection to its server. At the moment, i have to reboot the router to fix the issue. I also have QOS done. But it doesn't really helps when i have the torrent running or stopped However, when i quit the bitorrent program, the connections are still there. The question is is there a way to discconect the connections without having to reboot the router? Thanks Added on August 19, 2009, 10:27 pmi am using 1.25.8515.2 ND now and i have a problem. when i issue a reboot command via the web interface, nothing happened. it just says rebooting and give a timer for me, then after that it would just redirect me back without rebooting.
