If it's ori, should be ok since standard package is about rm17++ with 2g card.

i am about to buy the e71. how do i go about to ID whether the set is a e71-1 or a e71-2?

for ori, zitron or avaax is better, or it makes no difference.?

for ap, telstar or bbs?

e71-2 = NAM (north america version..u can buy it..but dont expect to use 3g coz d bandwidth is for US frequencies.but for GSM usage,go ahead.

e71-1 = europe n asia...get this one instead..

IMHO,for really "expensive" phones..get d ori ones..

since the price difference between ori and ap is only 200, go for ori la..

Now the AP price drop quite a lot. Should be a difference of RM250 - RM300 between AP & ori now

If U can look at the actual units and able to take out the battery , check the product sticker with something like below:

"Type:RM-346
Model:E71-1

Imei: XXXXXX
Code: 0560645 (<---very important)"
The unit are as good as ori set...

yes, the battery rocks!

install fring..the software is very nice..u can use most of the IM with it, including free voice call and even skype callout to call oversea..it is really helpful to me as now I am in the USA..and coreplayer is also rocks!! but it will cost u around usd24.00+..and dont forget the Garmin mobile XT as well.cheers!!

Recently, I have "background app closed" happen. I suspect is the themes I using rite now..
I also having few occasion on after key in *#06# to get imei..it didnt shown..strange. A restart will make the problem away.

yaa.. a slight problem i had is that after i enter the background thingy to close all running apps. i cant enter into menu anymore..
hav to restart my phone..
maybe firmware bug.
