notworthy.gif  Thanks a lot! This should really be enough. (And yeah, business is at risk here if this is 'named'. Understood!)

yup. it explains a lot. just for your info, the forummer that provided me the review purchase and apply it for his E71, so for other models maybe the end result will differ. So, I repeat, DO NOT SOLELY BASE ON THIS TO DECIDE WHETHER TO BUY OR NOT, cos I don want forummer selling this to come flaming at me and my thread. TQ.

Does anyone know what the hard reset code is? Its not the factory reset option in the menu cos that doesnt erase calendar entries and installed apps. I want to totally wipe it and start from scratch again. *#7870# doesnt work on this phone.

Just saw my friend get his new set.
The feel is so good. So solid...
I think I fall in love with this phone.

But, he found a little bit problem with the key pad.
He is getting an AP set. The "?" button is not right. (When u press "?", it don't show the "?" mark on the screen, it's an comma.)

Anyone face this problem?

Firmware flashing issue. Was informed by the technician that this could happen if there's a glitch. (What and how it happens was not mentioned)
So get it back to the dealer and reflash it.

There's nothing wrong. The AP set is not local and as such the keyboard follows the country of origin. When you flash a APAC/Singapore firmware, the keyboard mapping naturally follows APAC/Singapore's keyboard. Since your keyboard isn't, then the keys are wrongly mapped. Its ok, it'll same some time to get used to it. After that, there'll be no difference.

Anyway I just want to report that the battery problems have been completely resolved. The Garmin Mobile XT tip that I posted few days ago work. It'll save roughly 20% of battery power. For my case, a full charge lasted 4 days and counting. I still have 2 bars to go. I think it'll make 5 (by the end of today).
