Another option would be to buy one here:

http://cnn.cn/shop/nokia-grey-steel-englis...pad-p-3480.html

And try installing it urself (or send to someone who can) smile.gif

i think its all made in china. Nokia now orders their battery from their OEM plant in China. It is still Nokia only made in China, much like Nike clothing made in China. Things from China are pretty doubtful, but if its Nokia but made in China, you shouldn't worry much as Nokia conducts uncountable test to ensure quality.

Check out this link to be more assured..... Nokia Phone Test Routine

That's the reason why i use Nokia. If you are interested maybe u can be patient a bit, I have manage to locate battery maker who produces 1800mAh battery for E71, much higher than the stock 1500mAh, meaning u get 20% longer batteyr life. They also have 3600 mAh battery for E71 but it will bulge at the back and makes the E71 not so slim anymore.

well, i am using garmin as well but i don't have such problems. hmm, i wonder who knows how to answer that. maybe because its not an authentic version of garmin thats why when its running at the background there are no indication that its still running. Just a wild guess but could be the reason right? The only way to know would be to test onich4n's phone and another e71 say like mine with the same battery from onich4n's phone then we can make a steady comparison.

Seems like you may have a defected memory card. Try other memory card on the E71.
*
thanks will give it a shot, went to my dealer today and he told me that some units sold by 3 Mobile had the wrong firmware version installed so they need to reflash it..will try it tomorrow, hope it works coz i am coming back for hols this sunday

QUOTE(faliff @ Nov 22 2008, 01:01 PM)
With new firmware, no more problem with memory card after using usb cable (PC suite /mass storage)

memory card in use (appear when select file manager/access memory card) after disconnect usb cable.

for actived your memory card make sure all application store to memory card are close.(press and hold home button for see all atctive application) and goto

message/(unable to access memory card. messages will be stored to phone memory appear)just ok.

option/setting/other/memory in use (phone memory/memory card(depend your rename).
If you trouble with memory card try to format using phone.

the latest firmware is v110.something.something...but i can only use the v100.07.76 firmware at the moment cause my phone's software is designed for my service provider..i cant install a generic firmware like u guys do...unless i change the product code and do it...but there are risks to it...

are you a postpaid or prepaid user? like me, i'm on family plan value and i cant activate the mms service unless my dad tell maxis to do so since the line is registered under his name..hmm, maybe you should call maxis and ask for the setting..they will sms you the setting..its easier if you call them up cause sometimes their system a bit cacat.. sweat.gif
