i am having some problems with my e71...when i first got it and loaded up some MP3's the music player would not open...I restarted the phone...ejected and inserted the memory card a couple of times till it finally recognised it. 2 days later, i put in even more songs - total of 139 to be exact and the music player opened..it says music library corrupted and it was repairing it..after a couple of minutes i got my music back...then i did some app installing..everything was fine.. and today morning, i could not load all my apps stored on my memory card and i could not fire up my music player as well. when i managed to open the music player, it says memory or library corrupt..cant remember...

then i put in the card into my card reader and was surprised to find all my music gone sad.gif and i still cant open some of the apps installed on my memory card....

what should i do? am going to do a firmware update soon. charging the battery now...

Seems like you may have a defected memory card. Try other memory card on the E71.

With new firmware, no more problem with memory card after using usb cable (PC suite /mass storage)

memory card in use (appear when select file manager/access memory card) after disconnect usb cable.

for actived your memory card make sure all application store to memory card are close.(press and hold home button for see all atctive application) and goto

message/(unable to access memory card. messages will be stored to phone memory appear)just ok.

option/setting/other/memory in use (phone memory/memory card(depend your rename).

If you trouble with memory card try to format using phone.

maybe jameslee_84 interesting also in selling/bulk e71 battery...
so can get the best price for it....
*
Well, right now preparing to take orders for second bulk of Pdair leather case but for battery, its better to get from authorised dealer. the price might be high but the quality is guaranteed. I will source for it and see and if I can find a dealer for it willing to profit less than the usual margin, I will let u guys know. Maybe I will source for the OEM as well, Nokia takes their battery out of China production so if I can lay my hands on those OEM battery from China, then price will be significantly lower.

make sure its all off or u have exit all programs else it is actually still running at the background thats why it drains the batt. i'm not using the new firmware yet so can't really help if its the firmware issues.

so far i check no application running on background. i try to uninstall garmin first and let see how long the battery can go. if it is still same, then i think it is because of the firmware update i think.

if true this might be related to software installed.. hmm.gif

if reformat the phone for sure there is the default sofware (lite) installed & the 'processor' running smooth..

not sure is it true or not ?!! i installed several or many program on phone and memory card but with control (make sure not autostart, or related function OFF) but the battery still not same as 1st day used it..... rclxub.gif

i also have antivirus installed etc.... thumbup.gif

can someone judge this ?! how many percent the battery will drop etc...
