Did you update ur firmware recently?

I had similar problems after updating the firmware myself. Nokia care and Maxis Centre have been very helpful but to no avail.

Finally I formatted my phone using the *#7370.. code.. and all is well.

Remember to backup your data first, this erases the phone memory (i.e. address book, folders, notes, apps. games, calendar and anything installed in the phone memory)

On the themes, look for 320x240 QVGA landscape or SVG (scalable vector graphic) based themes.

i think its all made in china. Nokia now orders their battery from their OEM plant in China. It is still Nokia only made in China, much like Nike clothing made in China. Things from China are pretty doubtful, but if its Nokia but made in China, you shouldn't worry much as Nokia conducts uncountable test to ensure quality.

Check out this link to be more assured..... Nokia Phone Test Routine

That's the reason why i use Nokia. If you are interested maybe u can be patient a bit, I have manage to locate battery maker who produces 1800mAh battery for E71, much higher than the stock 1500mAh, meaning u get 20% longer batteyr life. They also have 3600 mAh battery for E71 but it will bulge at the back and makes the E71 not so slim anymore.

do u sell e71 1800mAh batter?

AP. Telstra. Er ... think I rather not get back repeat the cycle again. Somehow they have no idea what E71 is capable of. Thus, I'm not going anywhere/getting anywhere.

be patient guys, hope u guys can wait, still trying to find one with a good price when its brought in to Malaysia else wouldn't be worth the purchase at all. But I'm looking at bringing in 1800mAh only, cos 3600mAh will be ugly and heavy on it.

Hi guys,

I just got myself an E71 today. Need more time to get used to Nokia's new interface. My last Nokia was 3310 and I abandoned it 4 years ago for a Motorola tongue.gif

All I can say is this phone is superb!

Alright then. I'm gonna familiarize myself with voice calls and messasing before going into GPS and those other cool stuff u guys have been discussing.
