Hi all, is it video playbacks on Onmia kinda "lag"?
Are we able to backup & restore all contents and settings on Onmia? How can I test the front cam? If I moved apps folder from devide to storage, how to re-point menu shortcut to point to the new path? Thanks. This post has been edited by Shinichi: Sep 20 2008, 02:28 PM |

QUOTE(adwong @ Sep 21 2008, 07:38 PM) Hi adwong, are you able to advice me how to set it? I cant seem to find this option in Messaging. For those who updated their firmware, may I know if you manually configure GPRS/MMS settings again? I tried to get setting from Digi, but they only have MMS. Can I know where else I could get internet setting? Thanks. |

Thanks bro and you'll see the "Request delivery notifications" options QUOTE(lynxs @ Sep 21 2008, 08:52 PM) for the mms and gprs settings......go to start ====> settings Got it bro. By the way, mind to advice how to check internet setting to see if it connects automatically?go to the connections tab Click on Operator settings Select Digi from the drop down menu and click ok I remember when i first got my phone, it will connect to internet automatically. But after I upgraded my firmware, this do not happen anymore? Still quite lost from WM's maze Thanks. This post has been edited by Shinichi: Sep 22 2008, 12:35 AM |

QUOTE(shahnakal @ Sep 22 2008, 01:30 AM) go to start -> setting -> operator setting.. should be automatic detect operator network & configuration setting.. Couldn't find this... The only way I can think of now is to change "The Internet" to "Work" for internet connection (provided no chargable connection is set for "Work").QUOTE(lynxs @ Sep 22 2008, 05:48 PM) not sure how to automatically disable it....but you could see when its connected when there is an E in place of the antenna on the signal reception. If the E is there then it is connected. Yeah, this is what I'm doing now. Just want to make sure internet connection wont auto connect without my notice...Not to be confused with the E that is beside the signal icon. This is within the signal icon itself on the top of your screen. Any Omnia user here notice the phone is kinda slippery? Been using the phone for 3 days now and on few occasions the phone nearly slips off my hand... |

QUOTE(lastlion @ Sep 25 2008, 10:26 AM) to Shinichi, The phone book with the plus sign is for adding contact persons for shortcut dialing. Your own phone book should be at your lowest left screen which labeled 'contact', or in your phone book in main menu. QUOTE(lynxs @ Sep 25 2008, 04:31 PM) you cant change the items in the samsung widgets......i have tried.... Thanks for the feedback guys. the phone book on samsung 2 is just for speed dial....no link to the full phone book to go to the phonebook.....u have to do it the regular way |

QUOTE(raul @ Oct 2 2008, 11:19 PM) well, beside the user-friendliness, what say you to compare in between nokia vs omnia? The touch screen is responsive for me, but it is not built for finger friendly usage. 50% of the time I need to use my finger nail to "touch" the selection I want.is the touchscreen responsive? oh ya, omnia headset port = charger port? Yes headset port = charger port. Omnia only have 1 port which is used for charging, data transfer, pc connect, listen music, tv out... |

QUOTE(BratPAQ @ Oct 3 2008, 01:49 AM) how about sreenshots? here my new main menu screen, though the font color is killing me Hi BratPAQ, can we use any wallpaper with the launcher you attached?Added on October 3, 2008, 2:23 amok, scratch that ugly wallpaper, heres a better one if you want this, just copy the Launcher.exe.T1.skin of the attached zip file to somewhere in your pda, then using resco explorer or total commander, copy the Launcher.exe.T1.skin to your pda's windows directory. BUT be sure to make a backup first of your original Launcher.exe.T1.skin before you overwrite it.
