can i know what shud i do after i completed my a lvl if im interested in law. thanks

Haha, of course you can.
After you have completed your A-levels , you should decide whether you want to read law locally or overseas.
Then you shall pay a visit to education fair or colleges that offer law degree.

u not going to another uni that u said u applied for meh?
*
I did it both together. I did my A-levels from Lincoln College Asia Pacific which i have mentioned about it last time , and it was you who asking me . Hahax..

Well , i get enrolled to BAC first and see whether can i get the offer from University Malaya, if i am fortunate enough to get it , then i will leave.

I dont have much faith on that though , so , i have now focusing on what i am doing now in BAC for LLB UOL. Getting into UM is just a bonus ! just if i get it .

Who is teaching you in your inter btw?

hopefully...but the bad part is studying again zzzz
and clp more to memorizing and getting the procedures right rclxub.gif

and yea..UOL students gotta go to the exam centres to sit for the exams..BAC is either A'lvls itself or UWE or other programmes ie.Northumbria
what i've heard so far...there r rarely resits for final year students (actually never heard of a person having resit Part 2 though) since they won't wanna keep u already since it's the final year but the important part is how ur grades end up..ie. if u fail, maybe u'll get a condoned but the end grade have no idea xD
*
What , UUM ? We have to go there to sit for exams? Seriously ?

In 2 years time ? It means IPTA law grads will still need to sit for that right?

I shall not consider on UM then....4yrs+CBC = DONT KNW HOW MANY YEARS....

In the 1st year i have to do 5 subjects public law, criminal law, contract law, common law reasoning. How about your first year?
secondly, in the next year, i have to do land law, law of trust, law of tort, law of evidence/commercial law. I cannot choose both evidence and commercial right?
*
Hey! I am from BAC as well, Life over there isnt bad , it depends on how you socialise yourself?
I am now in first yr of LLB External Program, just get enrolled this april.

In your first yr, its only 4 subjects.

haha thanks for telling, but i got a brochure from Brickfields and it is stated there in first year there are common law reasoning, english legal system, public law, contract law and criminal law.  rclxub.gif

Hey JHong, your  name sounds like a chinese, arent you? haha im goin to brickfields in 22nd june, erm if i am not mistaken, i'll be joining june intake. can u help me to see whether is it the orientation will be started on 22nd june?    icon_question.gif
when i go there let's meet up  biggrin.gif
*
Actually, what is cited in the brochure is correct, it is just that you mistaken or misinterpret.
Common Law and Reasoning and English Legal System is the same subject. So, its 4 subjects.

Yes, i am a chinese. U got it!
Orientation day? Well, they should have informed you the day when u filled up your registration form ?

Meet up? hahax.sure....will see when..

i want to use LLB external result for entry 2nd and 3rd year in uk university. Is it hard to enter?
*
I think it has been mentioned in the previous post.
Can, u can do that by using intermediate result.

If i am not mistaken,i think its only Queens Mary accepts that for entry to 3rd year/final yr which u need at least a BBBB.

ohh thanks for telling...now only i knw common law reasoning and english  legal system are actually the same. sorry for my ignorance cos i was from science stream.
so looking forward to meeting you then. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
You are most welcome !

Haha, Science stream should be better as it is all about logic if u are reading it from the brochure.
I thought the brochure now didnt mention on the term English Legal System already? Or someone has misled you then.

Actually, it normally known as English Legal System, but it has been changed to Common Law Reasoning.

Hey guys...it's unofficial: but it looks like MMU law grads have been exempted from CLP (they've  also stated this in an advertisement for their foundation courses in The Star today)

According to their students, MMU has received a letter stating thus too...anyone care to verify this?
*
Yes, they get exempted already.....
