They=M'sia Bar Council, they wont accept it even you do have A-level and exempted from CLP with your BVC.

Yes,you did skip CLP with your BVC,what's the point when your 'lesser' university is not recognised by them(Bar Council)? Please understand that it is compulsory to be one of their member if you intend to become a practising lawyer in M'sia, whether you like it or not.

Best bet would be graduate from one of the listed UK university with link provided, recognised in both M'sia and Singapore.Get BVC from UK and try to get your pupillage there(if you can). The only cons i can think of is you might learn M'sia Law from the beginning as UK system is different from here,eg.Land Law is not applicable here.

Or else do your pupillage here is not a bad idea either, and always a good idea if you do it in your dad's firm.Where you can learn and explore, not just office boy/girl job.

Would you suggest then for me to do my degree locally? such as BAC? What are the pros and cons of doing it in UK instead of locally?

Actually, nothing could be improved during secondary school level. Right now, try to search for a study way which u r comfortable with and apply it in ur degree level.

By all means if u are good in English then it will be an advantage, but it does not means that if you poor in English you cannot take law. Get good/satisfactory result in SPM, strengthen your determination to study law, this is what you can do right now.

I'm just curious that which is your 'lesser university actually? No other choices apart from this?
Whatever it is,go for BVC(BPTC) after your degree.Always remember that M'sia is not the only nor the final destination for your career path.

I find that to study law compared to science, law maybe easier. As science student, u cannot "goreng" with the fact but law is rather subjective and u can always include ur personal perception.

Overall, I find it fun. I believe many of the law undergrad were from science background b4 too.

No problems in doing the LLB. But if you want to practice, you need a recognised pre u (A-levels, STPM and other recognised ones) to be a qualified person. Last time I checked, a diploma is not counted as a pre u for the purpose of fulfilling the LPQB requirements.

Correct, better double confirm with the CLP PIC if u really wanted to practice. As far as I concern, the recognised pre u are A-levels, STPM and Matriculation (Malaysia). If you dont have any of these, I doubt if u can enrol CLP class and to be a practicing lawyer.

Erm, score subjects... Juris, IP, Tort, Family
Killer... Land, Evidence, Succession

Apply to me and few friends whom I know. Subjects that you think you can score pull you down.

Why CLP ATC not BAC? When is ATC CLP preview?

Preview for ATC CLP is on the 10th of Sept, classes will commence either on 16/17. Is there any preview for BAC CLP?

I was browsing through the entry requirements for University of Liverpool for the Brickfields UKT programme for law. I came across this weird table where I didnt really understand, it said 1st year of entry 50% or 2nd year of entry 60%. The percentages came under the catergory UCAS. What does this actually mean? 50% and 60% of what?

It simply means:
If you're going for 1+2 - You'll need to score at least with an average of 50% in order to get into Liverpool
If you're going for 2+ 1- You'll need to get at least a 50% average in your first year and 60% in your second year.
