this is my first time doing overclock. by having assist from mr goldfries and asamkipas, i managed to overclock my e7400 at 3.55 ghz stable. credits to them bcoz 'tak jemu' reply my pm all day long. thanks broS.
using rs xigmatek and gigabyte p35 ds3, for me to get 3.5 ghz stable is like reaching at heaven. im not a real gamers. just want to try out testing using software OCCT, stable. prime 65 at more than 3 hours, stable. thanks again to goldfries and asamkipas p/s: rs xigmatek allowed d max temp only at 58 degrees. wat a bargain This post has been edited by yeepi: Jul 18 2009, 10:34 AM |

I already wondering to buy expensive casing, but then i think not all the time my CPU will load till above 70C. Maybe no need.. |

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Jul 19 2009, 01:00 AM) 4Ghz@1.38vNice!! Your max temp only 68C? wow! watercooling? Anyway, here is my statistic of OC with my 7400 so far: Speed (Ghz) - Volt-Temp (cel)-Temp (kel)- Speed/Volt 3.49 1.24 65.00 338.00 2.814516129 3.56 1.27 67.00 340.00 2.803149606 3.67 1.29 70.00 343.00 2.84496124 3.72 1.32 73.00 346.00 2.818181818 It seems that the most optimum Speed per volt is at 3.67Ghz. I guess still fine provided the temp & vCore pumped.
But for 4.2GHz, it is not worth the vCore needed already. Might as well using 4.0GHz 24/7. -pWs- |
