QUOTE(hazairi @ Jul 12 2009, 08:23 AM) Your idle temp is quite high. My idle temp even when I used the stock HSF was just 42C. Your stock vcore is high too. Stock vcore should be 1.22v. Where did u check the statistic? bro i resolved the prob dy. vcore went down to 1.18v after i restarted and enabled C1E in bios, together with speedstep kicks in (speedstep does not work before i enable C1E, which reads 1.30vcore and constant 10.5 multi).

QUOTE(hazairi @ Jul 12 2009, 10:02 AM) Good. Now try to OC your CPU. Run Prime95 test and see if it's stable. If got prob in the program, u can slowly increase the voltage.. 333x10.5 prime 6 hours passed with stock vcore bro. good or bad? tot of doing 400 fsb but couldnt get the right memory divider. well, this mobo doesnt hv much option on memory divider. i guess wat i paid was wat i get

i would personally opt for higher fsb if the mobo permits it.

QUOTE(-pWs- @ Oct 20 2009, 05:56 PM) Just check your board's manual. The lowest is 667 divider. -pWs-yup, ram set to 667 and running on 343 FSB, the ram speed is already running at 428mhz.

thats the thing. borrowed a pair of perf rams, bump to 2.2vdimm and 1.5vcore, it still fails to post. even at 400x6 multi voltage for MCH and everything else also been set to max. therefore, i can only conclude that this mobo cant do 400 (at least for me)

tried a few different setup, still failed. got frustrated and tried up all vcore, vmem, MCH, and VTT voltage to dangerous levesl, but still cant boot even at 400x6. i guess that's pretty much for my entry level board; p5kpl-am
