@Seaedge, the original extended battery 1350Mah is 50 euros. Compatible battery by Seido is 20 Euros with more battery life! I probably wun get from HTC, bloody rip off.

@arckHane, no, no issues, use developer hard-spl

@gohbkt, thanks bro!!! yea it definitely helped. i hard-spled now need to restore my spl for warranty purposes! biggrin.gif

Thanks baronic, but I couldn't download the hard-spl from cordon anymore, but I got a replacement Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex , are they the same?

Does that mean you hard-spled it with the RUU_Diamond_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.37.707.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.26a.25.09_1.00.25.03_Ship.rar version for the warranty?

I found something which might be useful for some people. A software that can make your Diamond works differently from the others and it make use of the built in Accelerometer!! drool.gif

Gsen - Auto Rotation (Specially designed for Diamond!)

This is a freeware. I hope sharing freeware is legal here? whistling.gif

Shouldn't be much of a problem. The laptop issues were a result of polluted lithium-ion cores during manufacturing. The battery packs should be made by another company while this company that sells it only does the packaging that complements the Touch Diamond. We need to know who manufactures the battery packs before concluding anything though.

Anyway, 1800mAH is a good choice. I don't see any PDA and even phones having such a high mAH rating.

I think ladies wont know what are Qualcomm|ROM Update|HSPDA 7.2M|GPS|... They only need what I called a flat phone, the most they need is a reflective mirror. They also might scratch the screen senseless with their finger nails IMHO..  tongue.gif

Yeah, we have surveys that female shoppers are attracted more to flat panel displays and large screen televisions than male shoppers.

Thank you davidmak (PM) and lester for tips. I will test it out after work today. After few hours of using TD I noticed 1 thing. Scrolling with the finger is not smooth. You might unintentionally launched a different program. I'm not sure if there are any tweaks to improve this but I found a practical temporary solution for this, which is using the stylus. The stylus is very accurate (in all menus!) and it does not smudge the beautiful screen with finger prints.. biggrin.gif

Yes, scrolling through lists with the thing is inaccurate with your fingers, thank the iPhone for that feature. tongue.gif

To try and use the finger scrolling properly remember that your stroke to scroll the list needs to be in one quickmotion
STAB THE SCREEN WITH YOUR FINGER and SLIDE WITHOUT RELEASING CONTACT from the screen.
To make the scrolling stop, the system gives you one chance to tap on something and it will not activate it. So... again without hesitation when you want the scrolling to stop, TAP THE SCREEN IN A SWIFT MOTION, any hesistation and you might cause it to register a 2nd tap which will activate whatever you tap on and not just stop the scrolling.

Thats because of the unresponsiveness of the Touch Diamond! shakehead.gif It is slow to respond in everything. Well I come from LG KS20 and the response is pretty swift. On the Touch Diamond, there's a small moment before it response. Anyway I have come to tolerate this. Hope the new ROM (if there is any) will solve this problem. Already on the 1.37 out of the box.

When you swipe, just make sure you finger is sliding smooth on the screen and doesn't 'jump'. You know when your fingers are try and traction is lost, your finger would literally 'jump' on the screen and it might interpret it as double click or something. Sometimes you have touched an icon without knowing it and continue scrolling. The touch screen has detected it but the unresponsiveness of the system fools you to think otherwise. Then suddenly it launched the program while you scroll.
