ah.... this case. mys_terious said that it is in a package of HT system. Buy AVR, cables and speakers. Then, they quoted it at that price.

Sorry guys, have not had the time to get to KL yet. Will plan and confirm with hackwire. There are other displays to calibrate in KL as well, so will do all one shot. Hopefully...

As a guide for the setting is not a problem. Since most of us are not using the same screen and different environment, I guess a minor tweaking needs to be done too.

Btw, I don't mind chipping in too smile.gif

The screens make it difficult to say if sharing setting will help. Also as htkaki says, it also depends on your environment. Eg, if there is absolutely no ambient light at all, then it would be better to target a gamma of say 2.3 to 2.35 compared to a room that has some ambient light, then targeting a gamma of 2.18-2.22 might give u better shadow details. Also the player that you use makes a difference. I guess most people use PS3 but I think this might be the year where more and more people start going to dedicated Blu Ray player for serious HT viewing. DVD players too many to make a generic settings. Each one I have seen sends the picture differently.

Boss, you can afford it. When your new huge pad is ready, you should consider this or JVC DLA-RS20.
