QUOTE(Lacus @ Oct 9 2008, 05:09 PM) I kinda saw this M2 to MSPD adapter that comes together with a M2 memory card on sale somewhere but never thought it would work on the PSP though. So this is tested to work? Hows the speed? How much do they cost anyway as compared to the Ori MSPD 8GB? |

QUOTE(toottut89 @ Oct 9 2008, 05:56 PM) @akachester, i dont think there is much difference in price for ORI mspd and M2. maybe around rm40-50 bucks? Just wondering, is there a need to format the MSPD before putting it into the PSP? I got both of my MSPD from Bernard where everything is already preset before purchasing it. Using Ori mspd 8gb, no lags at all. confirm. but make sure ori lah. I am worried about the speed because bernard told me that it "might" be a lil bit slower as compared to the 4GB version though. But if there is no such lag, i would love to get myself an 8GB. No need to change MSPD every single time though with games coming out in huge sizes. Btw, anyone know the price of ori 8GB MSPD? If the M2 is way cheaper than the MSPD, i would rather go with the M2 here. |

Last week check in LYP, Sandisk 8GB m2 with MSPD adapter about RM150-170 depending on which shop and Sandisk 8GB MSPD about RM240+ (can't remember actual price). I saw the cheapest is the shop next to Sri Comp coming from the escalator (can't remember name) but it's close to that stall that sells PS3. Look for the shop with Sandisk wall of products.
I'm currently using Sandisk 8GB m2 with MSPD adapter bought in PC Fair for RM179 with RM20 petrol voucher. No lag or anything. Can store alot of ~ahem~ games inside. The Sandisk 8GB MSPD was selling for RM279 with RM20 petrol voucher then. Added on October 10, 2008, 6:40 am QUOTE(Lacus @ Oct 9 2008, 09:40 PM) I saw some Sandisk 8GB m2 without the adapter being sold also. More cheaper than the pack with adapter.Added on October 10, 2008, 6:42 am QUOTE(fotodotnet @ Oct 9 2008, 09:30 PM) Go search in LowYat Plaza. Got alot there. Just seach for those shops selling Sandisk products.Added on October 10, 2008, 8:15 am QUOTE(akachester @ Oct 9 2008, 07:08 PM) Just wondering, is there a need to format the MSPD before putting it into the PSP? I got both of my MSPD from Bernard where everything is already preset before purchasing it. It is always recommended to format new MSPD using your PSP. Cause it will copy all the necessary files to it the MSPD.I am worried about the speed because bernard told me that it "might" be a lil bit slower as compared to the 4GB version though. But if there is no such lag, i would love to get myself an 8GB. No need to change MSPD every single time though with games coming out in huge sizes. Btw, anyone know the price of ori 8GB MSPD? If the M2 is way cheaper than the MSPD, i would rather go with the M2 here. The slowness for 8GB will happen if your are using imitation 8GB MSPD. Currently using Sandisk 8GB m2 for quite some time and it feels like using the 4GB imitation MSPD that came with my PSP package also from Bernard but a bit faster. Well, i kinda saw one M2 + MSPD Adapter at ALL IT, Ikano when i was there last week. Never bothered to ask the price though as i am not sure it works on the PSP
Will check out the price. Heck, RM150+ for 8GB M2 with MSPD Adapter is almost around the same price as a fake 8GB MSPD. |

Plus the original MSPD have MagicGate support whereas the fake MSPD don't support. Will check out the price. Heck, RM150+ for 8GB M2 with MSPD Adapter is almost around the same price as a fake 8GB MSPD. |
