I doubt you can get the 4GB ori MSPD (whether its Sony or Sandisk) at such a cheap price. Most shop will bundle them with a non ori version. Whats the latest firmware for the PSP?

Tested the Chotto Shot today at Bernard's place (yea, i know its a tad late tongue.gif ) and is suprised by the clear picture produced. Shall be getting one next week if i am free to go there smile.gif

More expensive? That would be a definite YES. Its always more expensive considering its from Sony. The only significant change i kinda interested is the screen. If its almost the same, then its not really worth the wait.

Paint peeling? How is it handled anyway? I have both the PSP1000 and PSP2000 and never faced such problem before. To me, the paint quality seems good.

The benefit buying from Sony Shop i believe is the Sony warranty that they are offering for your PSP as compared to local shop warranty when you buy from normal shops.

My custom firmware PSP can still play UMD games without any problem. And yes, you are able to play PS1 games via MSPD. Not sure about PS2 though.

Guys, anyone tried 8GB MSPD on the PSP? Does it lag and is it better to have 2 * 4GB rather than a single 8GB?

for 8gb, go for original M2 memory cards, they usually come with m2 to mspd adapter smile.gif

I kinda saw this M2 to MSPD adapter that comes together with a M2 memory card on sale somewhere but never thought it would work on the PSP though.

So this is tested to work? Hows the speed? How much do they cost anyway as compared to the Ori MSPD 8GB?

Wow..Thats nice. If thats the case, i will try and search around for it. Just hope it wont lag though. Anyway, does the M2 have the magic gate function as well?

@akachester, i dont think there is much difference in price for ORI mspd and M2. maybe around rm40-50 bucks?

Using Ori mspd 8gb, no lags at all. confirm.

but make sure ori lah.

Just wondering, is there a need to format the MSPD before putting it into the PSP? I got both of my MSPD from Bernard where everything is already preset before purchasing it. tongue.gif

I am worried about the speed because bernard told me that it "might" be a lil bit slower as compared to the 4GB version though. But if there is no such lag, i would love to get myself an 8GB. No need to change MSPD every single time though with games coming out in huge sizes.

Btw, anyone know the price of ori 8GB MSPD? If the M2 is way cheaper than the MSPD, i would rather go with the M2 here. smile.gif Heck, RM170 aint too expensive either even compared to fake MSPDs.

Well, i kinda saw one M2 + MSPD Adapter at ALL IT, Ikano when i was there last week. Never bothered to ask the price though as i am not sure it works on the PSP tongue.gif

Will check out the price. Heck, RM150+ for 8GB M2 with MSPD Adapter is almost around the same price as a fake 8GB MSPD.
