Just wondering anyone going to PC Fair next week to buy Sandisk 8GB MSPD. Thinking of getting it. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Hopefully cheaper than LYP as I saw cheapest RM239 for Sandisk 8GB MSPD.

Well if you have other Sony produces ie. SE phones it'll be a better choice. You can swap the cards and all you need is an adapter. tongue.gif

But is the M2 really faster than the MSPD? I heard the adapter will cause it to slowdown. I saw Sandisk Ultra M2 8GB and the guy told me that.

Want to ask. How play iso videos? I've place the iso movie in the iso\video folder and mount the iso in the vsh also nothing happens.

But really need a UMD in the PSP to play? Or can play with a UMD?

Read some other sites till blur d. Managed to learn how to go to recovery mode.

Just bought 8GB M2 from San Disk (All IT) booth in PC Fair for RM179. The 8GB MSPD is selling RM279 so didn't buy this. A bit faster than the pirated 4GB MSPD that came with the pack. Now can save all the games inside.

You need to enter the recovery mode (hold R and power up the psp) and change in "registery hack" > "button assign".

You have to becareful when getting the PSP with 4GB MSPD as the MSPD could be imitation even with the Sony logo and all. Some shops will try to trick you that it is original Sony.

Better you call or sms Bernard as he reply faster. PM will be more slow. I bought my Matte Bronze from him. Very good person. He will mod to the lastest CFW for you and give games in the 4GB MSPD and 2 DVDs of games too in the package with other stuffs like Hori screen protector, crystal case, etc. And yes he will tell you that the MSPD is not original and will give lifetime warranty on it.

my fren said MSPD got 8gb ady, anyone know how much izzit? And will it lag if we use 8GB MSPD? Coz i read from some forum they said ur psp will lag even u play music when using 8gb
*
Saw in the previous PC Fair in the Sandisk booth selling RM279 for 8GB MSPD. RM179 for the 8GB M2 with MSPD adapter.

Currently using the Sandisk 8GB M2 and no issue with the lagging when playing games. I think the issue is only with the imitation 8GB MSPD.

lagging on games is becoz the game is in different format..nothin to do with original or fake.. it only differs during file transfer only..
*
CSO files are slow when loading compared to ISO files. As CSO files are compressed ISO files.

Last week check in LYP, Sandisk 8GB m2 with MSPD adapter about RM150-170 depending on which shop and Sandisk 8GB MSPD about RM240+ (can't remember actual price). I saw the cheapest is the shop next to Sri Comp coming from the escalator (can't remember name) but it's close to that stall that sells PS3. Look for the shop with Sandisk wall of products.

I'm currently using Sandisk 8GB m2 with MSPD adapter bought in PC Fair for RM179 with RM20 petrol voucher. No lag or anything. Can store alot of ~ahem~ games inside. The Sandisk 8GB MSPD was selling for RM279 with RM20 petrol voucher then.

at computer shops at lowyat. sandisk usually comes with adapter if not mistaken.
*
I saw some Sandisk 8GB m2 without the adapter being sold also. More cheaper than the pack with adapter.

Just wondering, is there a need to format the MSPD before putting it into the PSP? I got both of my MSPD from Bernard where everything is already preset before purchasing it. tongue.gif

I am worried about the speed because bernard told me that it "might" be a lil bit slower as compared to the 4GB version though. But if there is no such lag, i would love to get myself an 8GB. No need to change MSPD every single time though with games coming out in huge sizes.

Btw, anyone know the price of ori 8GB MSPD? If the M2 is way cheaper than the MSPD, i would rather go with the M2 here. smile.gif Heck, RM170 aint too expensive either even compared to fake MSPDs.
*
It is always recommended to format new MSPD using your PSP. Cause it will copy all the necessary files to it the MSPD.

The slowness for 8GB will happen if your are using imitation 8GB MSPD. Currently using Sandisk 8GB m2 for quite some time and it feels like using the 4GB imitation MSPD that came with my PSP package also from Bernard but a bit faster. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Well, i kinda saw one M2 + MSPD Adapter at ALL IT, Ikano when i was there last week. Never bothered to ask the price though as i am not sure it works on the PSP tongue.gif

Will check out the price. Heck, RM150+ for 8GB M2 with MSPD Adapter is almost around the same price as a fake 8GB MSPD.
*
Well you can't compare the performance of the original 8GB MSPD to a fake 8GB MSPD if you only compare the price. Plus the original MSPD have MagicGate support whereas the fake MSPD don't support.
