Just for your information, CDM refund - 3 to 7 working days, (if balancing detected amount are different from the customer provided, they will send letter to account holder), once u receive this letter, please proceed to branch to view CCTV and dispute.

If let say refund is still not successful, please don't waste time to call or visit branch, please raise complain straight away to Bank Negara Malaysia.

Bank Negara Malaysia
Jalan Dato' Onn
P.O. Box 10922
50929 Kuala Lumpur

Tel: 603-2698-8044
Fax: 603-2691-2990

ATM Cash Not Dispended, but amount deducted from your account, call customer care, they will raise dispute report.

Normally this will auto reverse back to your account, within 4 hours. (but please still call customer care to report)

Withdrawal failed on:-

MBB its self refund is 3 - 7 working days.
MEPS ATM refund minimum 30 working days.
Oversea Bank withdrawal (Local) refund minimun 30 working days.
Oversea Bank withdrawal (Oversea) refund minimun 60 working days.

**Note: if withdrawal done on Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat, Bank Simpanan National, refund is must more than 30 working days. Normally this kind of department only few people working, so, refund surely take time.

**Note: for oversea bank (oversea) refund take time, due to location, and verification issue, that's why its take time to refund.

When you facing any rude front desk, you can go Maybank2u.com, under Customer Service tab, submit your feedback, remeber to get the staff Name, department, location (if branch).

It looks to me all the problematic machines are Maybank's. Been googling around and many people complained on their blog that Maybank ATM is not dispensing any money and the amount of money requested has been deducted from their account. Hopefully Maybank will rectify this soon.

So far i have never heard anyone complains about other banks' ATM such as CIMB Bank, Public Bank, RHB Bank etc. CIMB Bank ATM should be quite reliable as the maker (Wincor Nixdorf) of the ATM is also the one that responsible for servicing all the CIMB Bank ATM in Malaysia.

Hi ynnosc,
How's ur case already?

I'm facing same problem now. Google around and found having same victim.

I face this problem in Maybank kuching here. mad.gif

I banked in money batch by batch (think of click done after put in all the notes). then suddenly return all the money(?) without counting sound.

after that i tried to bank in with smaller amout. but found out the amount is less than what i deposited. cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Complainted to officer there immediately. but there is no action. telling me only KL office ( i dont know what office) can monitor. wow.. so advance? they still let ppl to continue use the CDM. The CS telling me they will bank in 3 days after . But nothing. after follow up. they said no such amount missing. the Machine log showned everything is fine. vmad.gif mad.gif

I complainted to BNM. seems like useless as well. they only look at CDM Machine log only. I am running out of idea now.

Anyone else have the problem solve? icon_question.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Write a form and state how much it is stucked in there and they will deposit the money back to you by the end of the day.

Wanna ask regarding the Cash Deposit Machine. I tried to bank in money for my car's HP loan since yesterday but it says " The payment is not accepted".
Just now I tried again, same thing happen. But when the money is used to transfer to other Maybank account, the transaction went smoothly.

Questions:

1. Is it something wrong with my account (HP loan)? I never miss paying my car monthly installment nod.gif
2. Due to CNY, the transaction is closed for a while?

Usually how you make repayment to the HP? Not sure if the CDM is able to accept such payment type.

I always make my payment online using M2U.

I accidentally inserted a RM500 note instead of RM100 into the CDM. Was depositing RM 200. 1 RM100 note and 2 RM50 notes. Saw the receipt and looks ok so I just go.

Later I check back my wallet, my RM100 notes is still there and RM500 is gone. I must have been careless.

What should I do now? Can I get the RM500 into my account? An hour before the bank open.
