Wow...RM300 per pcs...It seems like target a very niche market

Regarding the transport...is the 777 cdp? I think it cost not more than RM40k...erm, Taiwan magazine stated it cost 394,000

Maybe RM78k is whole set include the latest 999 dac?
*
it's MKII
i confirm it's more than 70K
i heard it from MR. Kuichi himself..

Wow.. That's very high end.
Probably should be in the same league as the dCS Scarlatti.
Just hope that I can have an opportunity to listen to them 1 day.
*
first batch is using JVC Pickup. while MKII is using CD Pro2 pickup...
and we indeed compared it againts puccinni and we all agreed that the remiyo is much much better.
and one owner of scarlatti also confirmed order to swap to remiyo CDP earlier.
and he told me he likes remiyo better.

wow, CDT777 got mk2??  Recently the dealer tell me the original cdt 777 will increase usd3000 from original price  sweat.gif , but everything is same. May be this is latest product which didn't show at any website. smile.gif

RM300 per pcs this is most expensive xrcd i ever heard, But I believe sound quality is super because AAD format. smile.gif

SFCD original spike base quality far better than atacama. I am waiting for your report. biggrin.gif
*
i can confirm it sounds much more better with this spike shoe.
everythings is SO FAST now. accurate. yet doesn't feels any lag.. so fun listening to my sonus now.

Just to share something here..

Before I buy my SFCD, I have emailed SF to consult them on what sort of speakers fit best into my 12ft x 12ft room.

The answer is: Bookshelf speakers
Model recommended: Cremona Auditor M

(Aikss.. I dont have such a huge budget lar..  laugh.gif )
*
i beg them for quite long time already for the spike shoe.. lol..
i just wanna get "real" whole set..
from the hair to toe..
by the way
Auditor M is seriously impressive...
wait i started working i will seriously find money for that.
now too poor to afford it.

by the way. i realize that if the floor is hard enough. use the sonus original spike on the floor won't going to scratch the floor as it's head is quite blunt..
and it sounds the best without any spike shoe.
everythings is fast. and yet evolving.
when put on spike shoe. .. it does shrink the positioning a little bit..
PS: above statement were not including harmonix tuning feet.

Next time try harmonix spike base  FR900 mk2, you will know the important of spike base  brows.gif
Do your speaker cable touching the carpet? If it does, please raise your speaker cable with any method, because static of carpet will drop your signal quality. smile.gif

oh ic , different  is  CD Pro2 pickup. my friend is lucky, he brought cdt777 mk2 less than rm 40k  last time.
I heard scarlatti is difficult to match system, although it is very good source.
*
scarlatti i don't quite like it leh..
very dynamic... very powerful.. bass goes very low.. treble goes very high.. very accurate,, but i don't quite like it.. i feel it's too much digital for me.

placing up some enacom product for sales..

Finally, the original speaker stands had been arrived and get them fixed.

Really delighted with the sound improvement, i.e. wider sound stage, less noise distortion (could be due to the weight of speaker stand), also the music instruments played are more well-defined.  Thanks for 'poison' but it's really worth and value for money. Not only sound improvement but also its aesthetic appearance.  Photos are attached, not good quality though.

Cheers,

yeah. at first i bought the stand and tested it on my speaker. i got a feeling that. even i describe the improvement in here. no one going to believe it. it's just too good to be true. just change a stand.. while the other things remain. and yet it upgrade everythings. it's just too good to be true to be describe. lol.
who will believe just a single stand makes a different that much. while costing RM2K for just a stand. sounds like a big idoit.
lol. and i did believe that it's useless if you just tilt the normal speaker stand 6 degree according to the ori stand. but it just different. different in material. differnet in weight. different in center of gravity.
but anyway until now i still glad i did the purchase of the stand.

I move my old 5 years old Aego m into my room for astro. sigh.. some more connected with pure silver cable made in germany.. that cable is so short that it can only fit from astro to aego m. lol so have to use it.. but it don't bring any significant upgrade in sound though. while it reveal a lot of cracking.. poping sound in astro.. haha crazy..
while pinnacle sound bridge, and CDP were play by sonus faber through audio analoge..

lol. no time to take nice nice photo. just simply snap shot..
no triport oso. hard to take photo. hand shake lately.. due to wallet seriously injured.. until hand oso shake..

Hi PcWork,

Congrat on your new int. amp, this unit is slimmer (less width) compare to the first generation, any pictures from the rear view of AA Primo Settanta?  Is there any XLR balanced analog input?  It will increase few gain if connecting via XLR for a slight, wider sound stage.

On your last picture, i saw there is a network media player, Roku Soundbridge M1001, in front of your Samsung LCD monitor, isn't it?  How is the performance?

I saw your post on external DAC, it's wise idea to purchase external DAC to bypass both your digital sources, i.e. Marantz and Roku Soundbridge, for example, DacMagic provides two digital inputs

I have the same interest as you i have two digital sources, CA 540C V2 and Squeezebox,  i intend to get CA DacMagic soon and buy one set of digital coaxial S/P DIF cable (digital source to DacMagic) and one set of balanced XLR cable (DacMagic to amp).

Hope you will get your external DAC soon as well.

Cheers,

Auronthas

the audio analogue doesn't come with XLR.
the rear panel is still exactly same as first version.
the changes is done internally. bigger transformer.. bigger heatsink. and bigger grill holes. and other electronics i not sure of which. that's all i can observe roughly by comparing them side by side without opening them. i think the size still the same. as i did stack the version 1 and version 2 together. ver2 did sound better on direct comparison. more stable. more powerful to my ear. although both were still rated at 70W per channel. the version 2 seems to improve quite very much in term of control. especially on concertino domus.

so this Primo settanta only comes with RCA. 5 pair of them which one of them can be use as photo stage.

the network player is indeed Roku soundbridge M1001. so far i couldn't be happier by it's performance. however i mainly use it for internet radios which running mostly mp3 / WMA at 128 kbps max. so the sound wise.. i still appreciate it.

while connect it to my computer to play some lossless. i stll prefer it done by my CDP. perhaps i using better interconnect from marantz to amp (VDH D102 MKIII)
while roku sound bridge only offer Stereo mini jack out , coaxial , optical. unless i upgrade it with DAC. else the cable option is very much limited. currently i am connecting it using a Canare Cable done as Stereo -> RCA. which honestly.. sounds not quite on par to my system.
initial test of me to the cambridge audio DAC magic.. i found it has not much different compared to CA CDP 540. that's why i drop off the intention to get it.
i might targeting on benchmark DAC1 for that. but the price is quite high for me. especially after purchase of stand and amp.

currently i really hope to upgrade my bottom rack which consist of MDF (the section i place my Astro, marantz, and Aego M satelite). i have eyeing on some marble for it.
the upper rack which i place my amp is indeed made with marble already. and i find the sound is very much improved.

nice setup there pcwork, are you planning to place ur sonus faber in that way ? i think it should be min 6 feet apart,

and then, side track, the other day i got the chance to listen to the new toy speaker, damm it is good, the price is also not bad, at about 3.7k , a bit small, too small, but dont under estimate this cili padi, it is so damm hot, you will melt the moment you listen to it. just only lack in the punchy bass. overall if you like opera music and andrea bocelli. you will love this toy.
*
my room too small. just temporary use it as it is.
wait i got better room after i graduate only i set it up accordingly.
but it still sound seriously good though.
TOY is small. but the sound ain't small eh.

yeah. seems the price is hike up. i not sure why oso.
so i manage to called alvin today. and have a brief discussion. that i might able to get each TOY slightly under RM 4K which is similar with previous price if not cheaper.

by getting more quantity i can have more "power" to talk with them regarding the price.
i myself have two serious friend who already decided to take it.
so my intention is to keep the price of my friend as low as possible.
i myself won't involve with the deal. i am just gather all order and get a bulk price. while all money will directly transfer from buyer to perfect hifi account. and official receipt will also issued BY PERFECT HIFI for each buyer of the TOY

so it is no different as in each purchase. the only different is we all have to strike at once. and hence get cheaper price.
of course i myself did request alvin to treat me some good meal if it was really happened. lol.

good things is TOY doesn't have to use specific stand for it.
its built to use with normal stand..
usual stand.. most ex oso about RM 450 can get already...
while dedicated stand for concertino domus. is retailed for RM 2.9K each..
after serious discount oso RM 2200 .. JUST FOR STAND... sigh..

and from what i heard of TOY.
if you have lack of budget on amp. TOY can anytime sound better than concertino on lower budget amp.
i tested it on Denon AV amp and it pawned concertino domus.

concertino domus only start to sound good if have budget to get good amp that cost more than RM 4K and above.
and only will overtake the performance of the TOY after paring concertino with amp that about RM 8K-10K.

on cheap amp. the TOY sounds so energetic.. and so fast. but concertino domus on denon AV amp is seriously CRAP to my ear. and TOY tweeter is imho better than concertino domus. they look alike of the cremona series. while the mid bass look alike to the one on minima vintage.

upper mid and treble is so much superior on TOY..
while concertino seems less refine compare to TOY on that. unless seriously power amp and seriously nice CDP were added into the link. then it is different story agian.

don't try if u don't intended to buy.. it's very very serious poison...
and it stay in my mind almost all the time.

it can kill of a lot of floorstander with the bass amount it can produce and the speed, and the projection of the sound is so huge.. that u won't even can imagine it's coming from that small bookshelve...

compare to it. concertino domus is like little baby.
