QUOTE(hushymushy @ May 20 2015, 05:48 PM) actually i find having a dedicated room is harder to get it sound right compared to open area....like living hall maybe mindset that it should sound better in a room.... Dunno we are in the same boat, I found that too "big" or "high ceiling" living area in the house, e.g. at my hometown, at 1st floor, I got a tall living area, will hear too much echo if play too loud If living hall with carpet and window curtain, it will be just fine?

Dear sifus.....wanna ask. Any shops selling Cremona Centre? Does not matter if it is Cremona M Centre or Cremona Centre.
Also, if I were to get Liuto Smart Centre, will there be audible difference? I have heard that there are timbre difference, but I am not sure myself.
Please help. Thanks a lot

Dickong this is the Home series before Domus series came about.....Domus was launched 2008 around there
Save to say they are roughly within 8 to 10 years old
If these sonus are in condition....worth getting
The tweeter is the Dynaudio Esotar made to SF specification and tuning The mids is made by Seas if i am not mistaken...otherwise it could be Eton....
Pair it Krell or Mcintosh......man these speakers are awesome

Your room needs a rug on the floor, you have early reflections from both the walls and floor

ahhhh i have many stuffs that i take in and out while setting up my system...including rugs of different piles/fabric, wood diffusers, bass traps, and all sorts of acoustic treatment
i've been playing with hifi for 20 years excluding the days where i use my dad's equipment....
first reflection controls are for new comers...just like people tell me about centre imaging lar....depth, width....these are really fundamentals
but its good to bring awareness too
some also miss the tempo, timing, tonal balance, micro dynamics, coherence and level matching
we've progressed into the realism of the music.....natural organic representation to bring the visual listening and liveliness of the music
