I am using Shell, want to give BHP a try...

has anybody managed to fix the front knocking noise? (occurs when turning over bump)

yday only went service, told them about the knocking noise, seems already fixed..... see how still got or not.

Added on August 27, 2008, 10:47 amYday, i went EON SC, in Klang , Pantai Bharu, the service really sucks, unproffesional, I already made appointment via phone one day earlier, but they said i havent and made be walkin customer, i spent almost 3.5 hours in SC. I think they pilih kasih, bcoz got two malay walk in customers after me, in fact, their car goes earlier to service bay than mine...... really pissed off man... Really regret of buying car from EON...SUCKS!

Shell still for me Maybe cause they've got Bonuslink? Haha.

A little off topic but the Shell(s) they have at PJ state, pump at the one next to CIMB bank (Attached to Menara Choy Fook On), better service.

I only like the additional leather seats, steering and well door furbishing for the interior for the Persona SE. I dunno, colours are a little 'normal' if you'd ask me

Haha nola they smile they greet you wipe your mirrors for you and such, whereas the opposite branch the staff there very cocky, they'd go 'credit kad tak boleh pakai la, pakai cash la, haiya' and sulk. WTF?!

Go pump once at both branches then you'll see the differences

oo.. most of the stations i went oso dun hav worker except for cashier.. mayb onli 1.. but oso din entertain me.. so i guess no service is better than bad service? ha..

hey..just wana ask..why when i rev the car till 6k rpm...1.1-1.3rpm will produce some rough sound..something like lorry sound...but then i open n slam the front bonnet..the sound gone.... ..wth is the problem??...SC also .....something lose?...

did the SC told you what was the cause of the problem? let us know.. coz a few persona owners also affected. thx

Ignore the noise, you'll be a lot more happier

Rather than dismantle every parts and inspect here and there, end up you get peanut workmanship, either some screw missing or you'll see gaps everywhere, poor fit and finish.

what noise?..care to share?.... oh yea..my fuel meter drop very noticeably...is there any problem?..like i pump full.it shows full bar...then after a while the meter start to drop abit....

i onli noe the meter drops very fast at the last bar.. bout 50~60km then light on..

wierd. so far i go to SC service.at seremban, old road to mantin/kajang, so far ok.got a good feedback from other customer.yup a bit late bcoz a looong queue.most of the officer indian, singh and chinese.yup i saw other cars goes earlier than mine, maybe small prob.
hehe just reach 2008km. lol

I got that knocking sound also. it comes from my right front area and happens every time i go over a hump at speed. if i go over slowly no problem.
what did the SC say was the cause?

Metal knocking noise on front right hand side suspension system (either the ARB, ARB-link, spring, absorber mounting, lower arm etc). Occurs when turning over bump or uneven road.

This is the only problem on persona that proton could not solve.
Once they said anti-roll bar wrong spec. So changed them with the bushings as well. Not solved.
Then another SC said it is the steering rack oil problem. I do not believe. BS.

then wat is the cause? i din notice any sound from my car yet..

same here, no sound except tht rattle sound at dashboard, identity from proton

Guys, what's the standard size for Persona front speaker? I think I want to install to my BL Persona........
