QUOTE(tequila2515 @ May 24 2008, 12:25 AM) i get my persona hl 1 week ago. since the day i get the car, i found tat the steering wheel make noise when i turn. at first i was thinking it might be small problem... then today i bring my car to SC and check. the fm told me that it is a common prblm for persona which has airbag. it is due to the wire in the steering wheel. and the guy told me that it cant be fix??? any persona owner here facing the same prblm....help!!!! what should i do to get the noise disappear? Is it a dragging sound as if coming from the steering rack inside the car? I also get the sound but only when the car is stationary. and even then it happens very rarely.

QUOTE(Ultima @ Jul 2 2008, 05:23 PM) how long oledi u drive the car? how many mileage oledi? if always stuck on jam, for sure ur fc will b high.. try find some place where the traffic is smooth odo shows around 3000 km. LDP is the shortest route to my home so i have no choice. initially before the 1st service the FC was 12l/100 km. Now its 10.7 l/100 km so considered an improvement lor. hopefully the FC will continue to improve after 2nd service at 6000km. btw after my 1st service i drove the car to melaka and my FC was quite amazing at around 8.9 litres/100 km with 5 people on board + luggage @ 120 km/h most of the time. this is surely a highway car lol

Guys I find it quite troublesome to look for the keyhole at night, apparently there's already an LED inside the circular casing. Can this be wired up by any mechanic? or have to go to specialist shops?

I got mine april 2008 but they miss out the gps navigator. so i complaint last week and they follow up for me with that dealer. after having a solution, they call me back and tell me the good news so i practically thinks PROTON I-CARE DO CARE about us buyers, im happy with the attitude and the manners with the passion of solving the problem im facing. so Proton I-care +1 points from me... hahaha mine is H-line also lolx. whats i-care's number?

Brothers,
When I pump in petrol I always wait for the click and then stop. I also usually let the pump flow at the slowest rate. But my needle position always varies wor. What's wrong ah? Is the petrol indicator needle known for its inaccuracy?

QUOTE(Ultima @ Aug 18 2008, 01:00 PM) click doesnt mean ur tank is full... the best way is know ur tank capacity, so u know how much to fill it.. usually after click, if u referrring to the slowest flow of the nozzle, u can pump more, but not too many la... really ah? then how to do calculate the FC properly like that? no wonder my FC calculations are all over the place. sometimes 10l/100km sometimes 12l/100km. driving style about the same somemore.

Guys,
i have a question, if we do some minor modifications to our rides, will the warranty be voided?
some ppl say that if we use r3 stuff proton will still honour the warranty? how true is this?
Cuz as we all know, our personas have 5 year warranties, very sayang if accidentally void the warranty lol
Anyone been there done that?

there's no r3 for persona. but apparently if you buy the performance parts from r3 (brake pads etc...) and install on ur ride, it won't void your warranty.
currently i'm thinking about upgrading the air filter...open pod or what not. but i'm afraid that it will void the warranty.
i'm nt sure about upgrading the rims though...sifu sifu sekalian any pointers?

QUOTE(remo1502 @ Aug 27 2008, 10:43 AM) yday only went service, told them about the knocking noise, seems already fixed..... see how still got or not. Added on August 27, 2008, 10:47 amYday, i went EON SC, in Klang , Pantai Bharu, the service really sucks, unproffesional, I already made appointment via phone one day earlier, but they said i havent and made be walkin customer, i spent almost 3.5 hours in SC. I think they pilih kasih, bcoz got two malay walk in customers after me, in fact, their car goes earlier to service bay than mine...... really pissed off man... Really regret of buying car from EON...SUCKS! I got that knocking sound also. it comes from my right front area and happens every time i go over a hump at speed. if i go over slowly no problem. what did the SC say was the cause?

QUOTE(! Love Money @ Sep 27 2008, 04:28 AM) there is 2 step, apply force firmly will scroll down manually according ur needs and press harder it will go down automatic completely... just like the digital camera shutter button or urs 1 is faulty 1 proton change to a better speaker... more clear sound QUOTE(JonSpark @ Sep 27 2008, 06:41 AM) I thought only headset give me this kind of problem, yup my laptop headset.....so it could be the speakers and yes the problem is very random, when the volume is in full blast you wont hear the distortion. So its the speakers fault? changing the speakers will help? I'm afraid the problem is not in the speakers..then I would have wasted money. One more question, is the sound system under warranty ah? Can ask the SC to change for me?
