In pulau ketam, the tide is very important. Too fast, no fish. Dead tide also no fish. Susah!

That place is heavily over fished. Thanks to the fishermen who nets all over the place. sigh...

Ya, todak also quite a lot but kinda hard to get because of their small mouths.
The water there is quite clear in the morning and the level is very high also.I like it in the mornings there.Gonna go buy some prawns now for tomorrow. biggrin.gif

No pictures. Water was quite fast so couldnt get many gelamas. I only brought back 2 eatable sized ones and released the smaller ones. Got a big crab too lol but released it.
One thing i dont like is people there bring back whatever they can get even if its a very small fish. How dumb is that.

If i m not wrong, I went there 3 times b4. It is called KELONG. If u first time, it is hard for you to find the jetty. U need to masuk those kampung area and kind hard to find the place cos i went there at nite always. B4 u reach the jetty, u will see a lot of banana plants on ur left and right. When are u goin? We might can tag along if u want. Most probably middle of may or end of may.

Nope, kelong and rumah bot is different. The ones in Teluk Gong are rumah bot. Its featured in this month's Pancing magazine.
I think i would be going this weekend. Its either here or under the bridge but the rumah bot are said to be comfortable.

somehow for me nothing beats topwater strikes whether on lure or on floating bread. there's just something awesome about seeing the fish strike rather than seeing ur line move wub.gif
