speaking of which, does RM250+- for a single 1.5HP inverter air-cond and a 10-year old (probably non-inverter) fridge makes any sense...? sounds like leakages somewhere...

Depending the number of hours you switch on for the a/c , if is left on 24x7, it will be more.

Your house lighting, water heater (if any), stove, fan, pc, tv, amps, cctv, alarm, water dispenser (if any).. etc

100 amps? may not need 3 phase wiring.

try talking to tnb for allowing changing the cut out and cut out fuse too 100amps. if they say ok then it is all good.
but make sure your rcb and mcb are rated properly.

Bro prefer to rewrite entire house wiring and change it to 3phase (3 fius at tnb panel also change to 100amps.)

One room want to put mining machine. Roughly around 1300-1500watt one unit machine. Prefer to use this to maximum.

Plus entire house got 6aircond.

Why’s yr suggestion?

i wish to have cheaper electrical bill...
Do you know how much I need to pay for the application?
*
No logic. 3-phase don't cut down on your electricity bill. It is for ppl who uses a lot of electricity - i.e. high load.

For example - single phase supplies up to 20A. You have many machineries that consumes up to 30A at any given time. That will overload your powerline.

So, you install 3 phase and distribute the load. Blue phase 10A, red phase 10A and yellow phase 10A.

Another use for 3 phase is to run 440VAC appliances. I doubt you have any.

well...........

6 aircon running at the same time assuming 800watts each will be about 21 amps.
lighting 7 amps would be more than enough assuming you turn them all on at the same time can supply total lighting up to 1540 watts.
and if using shower water heater will be 15 amps.

assuming all those running at peak capacity at the same time (which is very unlikely) you still have 57 amps left which can supply up to 12540 watts.

so..........you need to do your math and think about it.

I don't remember seeing single phase meter can handle 100amps.

And the incoming cable has to be 35mm2/50mm2 Cu to allow 100Amps single ph which are usually only 25mm2 i.e. 60Amp max.

You will have to upgrade incoming TNB cable size to allow single phase 100A.. Better to apply 3phase for that kind of loads.then they just pull another 2 wires 25mm2 Cu..

Dig out some old photos of my house, the old meter is 10-50, and my new meter is 10-100, my mom house new meter is 10-100 also. I remember her old meter (also white casing but first generation) was around ~60.

Correct.. hard drawn aluminium conductor o/h or copper armour u/g from feeder pillar .. depending on the load applied for in the original application for power.

Your TNB is the best answer,.
