I would like to know let say i have a house with two DB gfloor and 1st floor l.  Let say if i want to change to 3 phase do i nees to change both DB to 3 phase or just thr gfloor?

Noticed smoke coming from my fuse next to meter. Called Tnb, they changed a new fuse but tell me to get wireman to change cable from 16 amp to 25 amp. Anyone can recommend an experienced wireman in Subang/puchong area? I have 4 aircon 2(1.5) aircon and 3 (1hp) aircon, do I need 3 phase?

I receive TNB letter for electricity supply application by my developer, the letter mentioned is 1 phase wiring. Can I request 3 phase wiring with my developer?

Or I can only do any changes after VP?

Not sure about the new DB thing, that's why i ask. Can elaborate more about re run the wiring?

Do new wiring means change wiring is it? Or just involve the wiring at DB?

My mother house in Kepong which is 30 years ++ will need to do whole house re-wiring.
Total electrical points as below

1. 3 air conditioner 1HP
2. 5 ceiling fan
3. 1 water heater
4. 1 rice cooker
5. 1 fridge
6. Light points (let's say 30)
7. 13A points (let's say 40)

Scope includes
1. Installation of new DB wit 24 MCB
2. Whole house re-wiring
3. Autogate wiring

The quote is RM13k ? It is reasonable or he is trying to con me ?

Can single phase support 6 ac and 2 fridge?

How much does it cost now to install 3 phase TNB connection supply and also a new DB box? Thanks

3.5k including all the new cable and DB box? 

3 Phases is not just change DB Box, and Meter.

Need to readjust the power distribution, and correctly distribute each phase.

If the usage are very imbalance, TNB will come knocking your door.

Too much in-balance will cause voltage and phase issues. is not about pay or not.

I dont dealt  much with 3 phases imbalance so my knowledge are limited on this issue. What i know is when there are too dramatic imbalance there will be problem with the substation (in some gen set it can burned due to imbalance), and other house appliances will behave funny. This usually happens if the load are very drastic different. Maybe it wont happened to your case.

Tnb did came to my mom house to switch house from one phase to another, when i ask the technician told me they need to balance it. That was when we just move in sometime ago.

guys, i'm still confused about 1phase to 3phase.

landed house. supply is pulled serial stretching 4 houses. pre-existing 1phase with 60A fuse outside.

right now from reading TNB website, it sounded like i can magically change only meter and nothing else. please enlighten me.

(1) do i need to change meter etc outside? yes

(2) do i need to change fusebox inside?

(3) do i need to change lightning breaker?

(4) do i need to change breakers inside?

(5) is there new additional -whatever- at board inside?

(6) do i need to change wiring to wall switches, 3-pin sockets, and fixed appliances (including air conditioners, lightings, fans, heaters)?
