QUOTE(zenix @ May 5 2008, 01:06 AM) please find the post where i scolded you? Chill man. I've followed the guide in V1, and managed to get the Garmin working. Actually, you dont really need a card reader. Just use data transfer mode la. Yeah its abit troublesome coz it requires you to set the sms storage back to phone memory, but thats all.if u wanna make an issue of this. i quoted all our conversation since it started. i never expect you to answer it ALL surely got other sifu here wat Btw, if u mean some parts of the guide are missing, its probably because it shows how to bypass the activation method |

QUOTE(zenix @ May 3 2008, 04:03 PM) the Garmin XT installation guide requires a memory card reader. got steps for installating it without one? QUOTE(clsia1001 @ May 4 2008, 03:33 PM) Btw, anyone know how to hide music file from showing in ringtone Profile? 1) I have found a few methods to hide files, but I have no time to test it out yet. Therefore, sorry no solution for you... yet. I will update once I free and test it.Also, SanDisk 8GB microSDHC owner, can your Mobilemate Micro reader read ur Ori Nokia 2GB microSD card?? 2) The USB micro-SD card reader can support Nokia 2GB micro-SD card. Actually, it should support all micro-SD cards. I use it to copy all my rubbish data from 2GB->8GB card. 3) However, if you notice the mobilemate micro reader, it is stated micro-SD on top... and M2 at the bottom. Meaning, does it support M2 cards ? Added on May 5, 2008, 4:01 pm QUOTE(highwindz88 @ May 4 2008, 03:54 PM) Is there any possible way to do this : 1) No idea... yet.Vibrating alert ON for incoming calls and vibrating alert OFF for incoming message? I dun like the phone to vibrate due to "incomng sms" but at the same time i want vibrating alert for "incoming calls" only ty Another things is the Camera have timer countdown (example set 10 sec and the phone will capture image after 10sec). But the problem is hte N82 canot "STAND" to be placed stationary. Any idea how to place the phone stationary? 2) Get the DT-22 ![]() This post has been edited by cute_boboi: May 5 2008, 04:04 PM |

Interesting information perhaps can clear ur doubts:QUOTE Li-ion and Li-ion polymer: Used on a lot of newer devices, has no "memory" effect, should be recharged as often as possible, actually likes to be charged and draining it regularly can cause the usage time to be shortened, can NEVER be overcharged so whenever you're near a charger put it on there. Besides those benefits a li-ion battery is lighter and smaller but the chemical can hold more charge than Ni-cad and Ni-mh. So the one reply to your question said to error on the side of draining the li-ion batteries. This is incorrect information. You want to charge the battery before it gets below a 20% charge. Also batteries will not go bad from accidentally doing the incorrect charging procedure here and there but normally follow the correct procedure. One last note try to use the home charger more often than the cigarette lighter charger for best long term results. Cigarette lighter chargers do not give a full charge (about 95%) which in the long run can damage any type of battery listed. OK guys, I need serious help with the Garmin Mobile XT. I am using version 4.10.80. I believe this is the latest. Regardless version, I still face this problem.
Example: You need to travel NORTH 5km and turn right. When you stopped at a traffic light, the arrow (pointer) on the map turns round and round in circle. Then randomly, it points SOUTH and start RECALCULATING for an alternate route to the same location by the South way. Is there any settings that will allow me to 100% sure guarantee that the arrow only points in ONE direction? Hope someone is able to help me fix this cause the moment it goes in circle and recalculate every time, it makes my parents doubt the accuracy of GPS. |
