guys..had a problem here..can enibody tell why it happend to be BSOD when i've started my pc ?? i did clear cmos when i've installed this cripple core..do i need to reformat it back??

no need to reformat also suppose can log in windows....
Cmos not cleared properly maybe??

change proc only rite? usually it shouldnt bsod. But then again you are going from dualcore to 3 core. Maybe got some driver conflict there. Try booting in safe mode and uninstalling the processor driver.

Guys I needed help. My current stock cooler with 120mm fan can't cope with 1.4V 2.4GHz (3800+ F2) heat, idle it reaches 42C, even Orthos 1 minute it rises close to 60C

So should I buy Brisbane cored X2 or CoolerMaster GeminiII?

that normal for 3800 F2 i guess..go for F3 la bro instead of Brisby or GeminiII..can do 2.9 at stock vcore..

BTW i did managed to start-up in safe mode..but i couldn't remove anything since its in the safe mode..
is it anything to do with my current dual core optimizer..??

Where can I find F3 nowadays, especially the lower model one (below 5200+)? Its hard to find

btw..it is really happened to be a crash on dual core optimizer..
managed to delete it on safe mode, than it only can start properly..

stock cooler, its normal. last time using Xp90 and Freezer 64 Pro, both manage to cool my 3800+ F2 2.8ghz@ 1.6v Vcore around 60'c full load.
just looks for cheap cooling solution is enough already...

How much Vcore does it take to reach 2.8GHz? And what mobo did you use?

i manage to hit 2.76GHz at 1.525v vcore. I manage to hit 2.8GHz at 1.575v last time but due to limitation of my cheapo kingston-chip ram, my system was not stable.
