QUOTE(Najmods @ Apr 27 2008, 10:21 AM) Guys I needed help. My current stock cooler with 120mm fan can't cope with 1.4V 2.4GHz (3800+ F2) heat, idle it reaches 42C, even Orthos 1 minute it rises close to 60C So should I buy Brisbane cored X2 or CoolerMaster GeminiII? stock cooler, its normal. last time using Xp90 and Freezer 64 Pro, both manage to cool my 3800+ F2 2.8ghz@ 1.6v Vcore around 60'c full load. just looks for cheap cooling solution is enough already...

And what mobo did you use? last time i set at bios 1.575v, but sometimes it show 1.6v using m2n-e...still using it untill now...so lazy to change other mobo...(no money too... ) better cooler arr...maybe u can try xigmatek or freezer 64 pro. QUOTE(dblooi @ Apr 28 2008, 09:23 PM) lolz why limit the HT Link to 1000MHz? No point to buy am2+ proc and mobo in this way Don't blindly apply am2 oc method to am2+ oc Observe and think before you apply, oc wise yalor...me also just notice it. try push to the maxx. usually mobo with 590 chipset and above got no prob with higher HT...

QUOTE(dblooi @ May 4 2008, 02:08 PM) K10 has DTS spoiled as well if i'm not mistaken. Try to touch the base of the heatsink, see whether it is hot or not, more than 50C should be very hot when you touch on it really?? DTS probs is the main reason i'm not changing to brisbane core last time. if K10 also still got this bug, really disappointed la...
