Funny, you said you read all about it already, then why do you ask? 1st page already listed diets. My blog already listed diets.... I'm still puzzled with what you have been reading.

Not all youtube videos shows you the proper ways of caring and feeding gliders. If I were you, I would stop watching youtube and read more from wikipedia, sugar glider websites that are in the 1st page and also in my blog. Those are proven facts and advice from experienced breeders and researchers.

If you want to get a joey from a breeder, then there is a waiting list. Look at my sales thread to see the terms and conditions. Even Bonai also got terms and conditions.

Also, you shouldn't rush in getting. Many people I know really take their time and wait for breeders to get them healthy joeys with quality rather than getting from a supplier or unethical breeder or unethical petshop that sells poorly conditioned underage joeys.

If you are so into gliders, then best is you read this whole thread from 1st page till last. I know many other new keepers or those waiting to get a joey have done this.

when i go pets wonderland in mid valley or pet safari in ikano, i do really get tempted to buy the SG asap!!! but i know dat if i do that, i may end up having fun in the early days only as the SG babies or we call joeys sold there are underaged!! they din get enuf nutrition from their mommy in their early days, thus they will not last long in the long run.. meaning htey have shorter life span compared to u get from reputable breeder like crazymouse, reanne or bonai in lyn forum... biggrin.gif thumbup.gif

what for we want a short life span one rite?? imagine u get so attached to him d, then one day u realise dat he doesnt lived as long as 10years... wanna regrets at that time?? NO for me!! vmad.gif

so hun, i am gonna wait till i am ready enuf k!!! hehe blush.gif am ready d actually, but since i am studying n in campus, it would be a trouble for me if my college staff caught me having pets in my room!! anyway, i got away with the 9 gerbils!!! haha wub.gif

so what ya think?? research or get them now??

btw, where r u staying? u work or study le?

Crabbing is not an action but a sound that a sugar glider makes when it is scared. Theoretically a joey's bite won't be as painful as adults (which can draw blood) and it also depends on how you handle them.

Attached File  crab.wav ( 109.36k ) Number of downloads: 12

attached is how crabbing sounds like.

You would be making a BIG mistake by doing so as their teeth won't grow back.

go to first page and click the informative youtube links.. that guy explains all when u get ur first SG...

crab : means they takut with u ma.. still not familiar with things so suddenly.. esp the new arrivals.. dats y u have to do bonding process with them..

during bonding expect to be bitten.. yes they bite.. u cannot withdraw or scold them.. they just dont get it.. u have to let them bite [nip is more appropriate], cause they will know that u does not harm them, eventually they will know u mean no harm, thus they will forget bout nipping u... then they will build trust to u..

and you have to bring them in bonding pouch during the day when they r asleep, so they will get familiar with ur scents as SG are scent markers.. meaning they feel comfortable with u when u always carry them around so that they also feel ur scents[ur body smell]...

they will also pee n poo to u... their way of marking u as their safe tree!! yea, they think we are their tree.. so do expect they pee poo on u k...

are u willing to do all of dis??? icon_rolleyes.gif

then, welcome to the world of SGs... feel free to ask around only when u finish reading first page till the latest.. coz not all are willing to explain again and again what's been explained d!!! haha.. later all marah2 u if u ask the same thing again...

i will just read the updates since last v5 thread and seldom post here... only when i dont get sumting, i will post here.. hope u too k...

bye2 wub.gif

if u wanna get a pet u must be willing to get bitten by it. Doesn't matter what pet also right?
Hamsters, they bite. Cats, they scratch.
