poo a lot on you means good....

taking you as their favourite tree... marking you everywhere....

and maybe they are used to you edi... they know its safe with you.. so they venture elsewhere...

my glider does the same too in my room.... but once outside my room, they will venture a bit then jump on me...

dont quote me... im speaking based on personal experience...

Each glider have different ways of being bonded. One way is scent marking your body by leaving trails of pee. If pee and poo at one go on you, that is just normal, not really a sign of bonding but more like using you as a toilet coz that is how they treat their favourite tree. If they scent mark you like leaving droplets of pee on you, rubbing their head and chest on you, then that means it is showing you that you are part of it's family.

Jumping back on you, not all gliders do that. Kiah is so laid back that when she is on humans, she won't really jump away. She rather crawl on to your arm or hand. If Kapi, she is super adventurous so she would jump at other things that has caught her interest. Keera is the naughty glider as she would jump on everyone and anything to explore but she would jump back to me. If they are comfortable with their surroundings, then they would rather explore than be on you. Just let it be.

It really takes time. ggMing's glider can would jump back on him is it feels insecure in a new place. My Kiah and Kapi won't really jump away if they feel insecure.

Being scared is a different thing. Normally when a glider is scared, they would either jump back on their owner or hide in their pouch. Why? Secure, well known by them and they know there is no danger if hide in pouch or on you.

Don't just jump into the wagon coz it's cute. PLease read up and research on this pet to see if it is the right pet for you and if you have the commitment or not.

If you keep a glider in the same room with a parrot, it would freak it out coz gliders do not like high pitched sounds from parrots and also the flutter of feathers. Also, if a glider manages to free range, and climbs on to the parrot's cage, then most likely the parrot would attack it. I never keep my gliders with my birds and parrots, all in separate areas of my home.

Funny, you said you read all about it already, then why do you ask? 1st page already listed diets. My blog already listed diets.... I'm still puzzled with what you have been reading.
