Will the slurp smell sourish like bad sourish yoghurt when it has expired?

It doesn't really smell sourish, but will taste sourish when it is bad.

is it ok if i try giv my sg a whole week an apple and some vege???

will they get bored with the same fruit??

and 1 more thing... when night y sg bark, when i go to him... he stop barking... wat that mean ha??
and 1 more last thing... how we know that our glider bonded enough with us?? i hope specialist can asnwer me???
*

Yes, they will get bored of the same fruit and giving them the same fruit also is not good.

Try and give your suggie atleast a different fruit everyday or a rotation of 3-4 fruits a week.

About barking has been explained. You can try searching here with the keyword "barking"...

There are many levels of bonding with suggie, but I guess if your suggie can stick to you and know you between other people, then they are bonded enough with you smile.gif

Yes, it would taste sour. Smell... not so... you gotta taste it. If it has gone very bad it would smell like sour milk. Why? You didn't keep it in the freezer?
I did put it in the freezer only to find out that the freezer was not working as it should a day after. the whole thing was still cold but not frozen

If your gliders are getting enough moisture from their food, they would rarely drink.

Anyway, no coleslaw or mashed potatoes or any human food that has been mixed, seasoned and processed till it is not natural anymore. It's ok to give normal boiled potato and raw carrots and cabbage. Coleslaw is mixed with mayonnaise, which contains oil, salt, egg, sugar, starch and preservatives. Mashed potatoes contains oil, salt, pepper... and the brown sauce could be a sauce made with onions. All this is bad for any small animal. Even cheese is bad.
Wow, luckily she didn't jump into your marine tank. Sometimes I do get such extreme cases when Kimba decides to run out and visit my dogs. It makes my heart jump out of my mouth.
*
Okok, thanks for replying. I just forgot that human food are not for gliders. I'll try to keep it in mind now.

Why are those joeys wet anyway? They spray water on them or what?

QUOTE(aurion @ Jun 9 2008, 03:15 PM)
They can be very naughty at times. Mine I put on my bed, when I want to catch her back and put into the cage, she will try to act like a scorpion, tail put up and point it slightli forwards with all 4 legs wide open.. She'll usually jump a bit to the left and to the right and jumping in small steps giving me the impression that she's trying to say "you cannot catch me". She's alright when you catch her and put her back into the cage.

Post up a pict, can imagine the post sure is very cute. The glider main main with you.

I am considering this as well. What's the price of just having them shave their nails there?

If it is not frozen for a day, it's ok. The Slurp would turn bad after 4 days if you leave it in the fridge part. If freezer, it can last a month to 2 months.

The joeys are wet coz they do not know how to groom themselves, then eat apples only. And the joeys are not properly weaned and have not learned how to pee and poo properly, so they do it on each other. That is why wet. Some would get wet coz of the apple being too big for them to hold so they have to "hug" the apple.

Manage to spend an hour and half with Luna and Moka today. Luna is still playing catching with me. Moka would stay still if i approach.

I took them out and put them on my shoulders, then i walked in circle in the kitchen. They pee on me as usual but no poo today. They running bout on my back. Luna still hate touches. Moka is hissing but never hear them bark yet.

Prepared their food and put them back. Haven't have much time with them but our bonding session will take a while. I believe its good progress.

Why do they crab when they're on my back? At each other? Can't be at me when my hands were away from them. Can they be grumpy? Sleepy and grumpy?

Oh ya, when i pushed them out of the sleeping pouch, and then i roll it up, Luna knows how to unroll it by shaking it hard and quickly run back in. Cool.

3 ways to trim your glider's nail:

1. Learn to trim yourself: 'Click here to learn!'

2. Go to Pet Shack and get your glider's nail trimmed for 10 bucks only! (view 1st page for directions)

3. Get a nail-o-matic. 'Nail-o-matic online @ Pet Shack'

That's normal.

It's just his time adjustment.

They will still sleep during the day and wake up at night, just different times at night is normal smile.gif

Iggy used to wake up after 11pm. After fasting month last time, he can wake up after 8pm now smile.gif

The rest will normally wake up after dark (7ish pm) but they go back for a nap after awhile...

Wah, Apple and Mac hehehe. Nice names.

Each glider has their own individual routine. Some would adapt to their colony or partner's routine as well but it depends. Like for my 4 in a cage, only Kinta would wake up in the afternoon to eat a bit and drink some water then sleep. For my Keera, not in the cage lah but living in my room, her routine is different. She is awake around 1am, then she would sleep at around 3am.... then wake up again at around 5 or 6am and play around. Then she sleeps and wakes up at 11am.... then she sleeps after an hour and would sleep till 1am.

Don't just jump into the wagon coz it's cute. PLease read up and research on this pet to see if it is the right pet for you and if you have the commitment or not.
