If he is depress, then you should comfort your little fella by bringing him around and handling him more so that he doesn't feel lonely. By just letting a glider mope around alone in his cage after his partner went missing is stressful.

If you simply buy the mealworms from the shop and feed straight to your gliders, then memang is not good. That is why we keep telling people to gutload their mealworms and crickets.

Earthworm, silkworms, fly larvae(maggots) and certain beetle grubs are good for them, much better than our mealworms but where in the world to find? If we find in our ground, at bushes and in trees, these stuff all sudah contaminated with pesticide, toxins and who knows what. Remember, it has to be farmed insects. Silkworms are the best, earthworms very slimy, same with slugs so I don't think gliders would like it.

Best is always to include a bit of insects. I think mealworms are not so bad. I use my hands and fingers to hold them summore and I'm a girl.... at 1st yah, you will feel all icky and yucky it just needs some getting used to it. We can use forceps or tweezers, no problem with that if you are afraid to use your bare hands to pick them up.

If you can't come on Saturday, then try Sunday. I think Sunday is gonna be a bigger gathering.

It's ok. You have 2, they won't die all of the sudden. But to bond with them, you need to do your tent bonding and pouch bonding. Do it as often as you can. Coz now they should be comfortable with their environment, so they should be fine.

Here are some pictures of a lil male joey. Look at his curly tail, I named him Ringo. Hope he gets a good home later.

Anyway, Ringo is only 5 days Out Of Pouch. Haven't open eyes yet. He is the only joey from Naya now, so he is taking up all the milk. He will grow into quite a big and handsome glider.

So dunno is true or not. It would be expensive if it is not a pure white tip. Is like rm900 for the mom and joeys in pouch. The person never state the colour of the father. If the male is a white tip then I think understandable to assume lah but kalau the male is just a normal grey?

That is normal. That is why need to trim their claws. If a human didn't cut his/her nails, and uses it to scratch someone hard, don't you think there will be a red mark? Is the same, just that gliders have small thin claws so it just makes it more irritating to the skin.

Gliders are happy when they chirp while eating their favourite food, they blink slowly when staring at you, sometimes winking too. Then they would groom and nibble you. They are happiest when they feel comfortable and secure.

Yups, nibbling is a bit like rindu sign. Grooming also. Some would even musk.

Alot of sellers in adpost... then you know lah, alot of newbies also visit adpost to view pets for sale. Sometimes some of the sellers there are just trying to earn extra cash or sell without knowledge, so whenever we wanna get a joey, especially from online classifieds then need to jaga jaga sikit.

Forums slightly different, at least can track down the seller's tradelist and see if reputable or not.

It is very normal for them to grab onto things. That's why gliders don't make such good pets to young children. Imagine those scratches on delicate skin.... but with proper guidance from their parents and regular nail trimming, gliders are ok for older kids.

You can include something into their slurp to improve the fur. Get your normal cod liver oil, give 1 drop per glider 3 times a week. You can try that. Normally what I do is buy those in the gelatin capsule, pierce 1 hole and squeeze 1 drop out. Then the rest I telan loh eheheh.

Protein, it shouldn't be a problem since he is eating mealworms and slurp. Since you mention only the tail, it could be over grooming or skin irritation.... see how.
