QUOTE
Because there are still quite a number of 4:3 television programmes being broadcast on Freeview digital TV, viewers who wish to maintain the correct proportions should set [Aspect Ratio] to "4:3" and [Side Panel] to "High". This way, 4:3 material would be preserved as 4:3 (with a pair of grey side masks); and 16:9 would be displayed as 16:9. Either way, the screen would be filled up, lessening the risk of permanent screenburn.

Guide to "cook" ur plasma, to lessen the chance of getting burn screen later.

Forget about brands or size .... check out the technology out there that makes movie motion/images damn realistic and 3D.

So far, seen SONY (MOTION FLOW) and PHILIPS (PIXEL PLUS 3) that can do that .... damn impressive. Must see to appreciate.

Cooling fanz are most probably due to improve air circulation to eliminate buzzing sound found on most PV7 series when mounted to the wall.

I also to play .avi files most of the time....pv80h is your choice...but its not 1080i please...you got it all wrong, it can scan for 1080p, but the display is still 1024x768. The best part about it gives better res displays a run for its money. For movies..you best bet is Plasma..

I'm not sure of the CV500 specs but full hd is best is blueray players..if you are still using normal upscaled dvd players, will not give that much improvement over the panny. But then again, I might be wrong brows.gif

Hi Clngu possbile to get HN price as well? The price others offer seems to be lower (I got quoted from UnHuat - the shop (owner) get Panny Caravan roadshow at W.Maju for the Pioneer is much lower then the one you posted....... maybe you are sharing the MSRP ?? for 508XG should be 2K cheap at least & 428XG should be 1K chaeper at least.....)

no wonder i didnt get any updates - got v2 also i dunno!

congrats digitaltech!!! this really shuts them up now. 5 years panny malaysia warranty....whoa!

good job!

btw remember i mentioned that Jusco Members Day Sale can get pretty good deals as well? well 5199 after 5% and 10% cash vouchers is like 4445. and dun forget, you still get cash rebates and points after that. And one more thing - interest free payments. So in the end, the deal might even be better than what you got for RM4300 or close.

congrats again and enjoy~ rclxms.gif

cingu i think the "Plasma TV vs. LCD" info needs to be updated as well. Things like LCD is better in terms of power consumption is wrong and burn-ins etc is not even an issue as proven by many.
