My Waja"s FC is about 450km per full tank. Seems kinda high. But I've done only about 1200km.. will it improve as time goes by?
It will improve after 5k service

For the new Waja CPS it comes with 5 years warranty but I'm not sure whether this applies to other Proton's models or not...
r u sure 5 years warranty? cause there is no black n white stated 5 year warranty except at the plate holder..

2 years normal warranty + 3 years extended warranty

Are you sure or not...?? Even Mitsu engine A/T doing 530km for full tank...mine is M/T, last time 640km for full tank..

the best milage I get so far was 560km with 15 litre left in the tank(according to resit la)
QUOTE(Draken @ Jun 25 2008, 02:29 PM)
I can concur with this. My full tank allows me +- 460km. This is with 60% city & 40% highway travels. Usually humble driving. I only "flex" my right foot when it's time for a refill.
By the way, the rattling sound from my dashboard is back. Removing a "loose" screw didn"t help. Seems like there's someting else that remains unresolved.
Pertainning to the warranty issue, I was told the standard warranty is 2 yrs/50k Km. The balance 3 yrs + 50k km is an extended warranty and you are only eligible if you have signed up for it. Can anyone confirm on this>
Yup, you should get a letter stating "program lanjutan waranti proton edar". In that letter it states the start and end of warranty. mIne will end 2013

Hello everyone.
Congrats for reaching the century mark. Boleh tahan korang ni. Anyway, just to update on my car:
1) Now using Synthium 800 10W30 and the result is astonishing. Acceleration increased, FC also better. Can easily reach around 550km prior to filling up. (mosthly highway ~ 140km/h) Dont know why, but the FC seems better at that speed. Normal town driving can get 450-480km depends...
2) No more sound at RH speaker. Open the casing and tear out the leftover plaster and fush...everything OK.
3) Change the volume button at steering, faulty last time, adjust volume but change channel.
4) Higher tyre pressure save fuels. Confirmed though not that significant.
5) Almost reaching 10k service. Going to stick with 10W30.
Thats all.
Thanks,
Muah. HAHAHAHA.

Whats the different between 10w30 and 10w40? which is better?
For tyre pressure, you mean more than standard? 210 infront and 190 rear?
