QUOTE(futobuta @ Jul 5 2008, 10:03 PM) Since I have already bought the whole set of safety bars, what else is there to add to the car? without endangering the warranty issue. The guy in the shop recommended that i change the air filter to the K&N unit. What safety bar you bought? Try redline drop in air filter... Many recommend it. |

QUOTE(mytrader @ Jul 10 2008, 01:52 PM) VIM switch over is at 4.8K, CPS at 3.8K. Thought cps like v-tect... if the CPS switch over at 6K, it wil be so near to the redline , it would be useless... QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Jul 10 2008, 02:07 PM) QUOTE(Mohd Idham @ Jul 10 2008, 02:18 PM) wow, i never drove my Gen2 over 4,500rpm (thats about 140km/h already), and how about 4,800rpm or 6,000rpm.. wow, scary...hehehe.. 3,800rpm is at what speed ? never concern before..only reach 4,500rpm during overtake ~ 140km/h, and decrease back to 3,400rpm ~ 120km/h. (cruise control do it for me.. Thanks for new knowledge about cps... Actually i rev till 6k rpm as i knew before that cps engage at 6k rpm. Do it as wanna 'kejar' civic v-tect. Can cucuk2 for a while then slow down because still think about my safety.. But still can't play2 with mech compressor c200, it just like drag with a jet.. Huhu... Just can hold about 10 sec, then that mech already lost from my sigh.. Daily drive, change gear at 3- 3.5k rpm... Not really good for fc.. 9.5l/100km... |

QUOTE(spacepilot @ Jul 10 2008, 07:56 PM) Guys, somebody try to prey open my rear window with a screw driver, broke the rear door visor and chipped some glass Sorry to hear that... People now a day really bad... Maybe they aim for small thing like cd player or even coins.... If install the sensor alarm, do i need to remove the old alarm system..? For know, just use the paddle lock. I'm also concern about the safety...I have nothing on the rear sit but just a pillow. |

During my 1k service they change engine oil (syntium 800, 15w50), proton gear oil, proton oil filter. They also did flush the gear oil. Not sure about gasket drain plug. Cost rm146 + the 1k free service coupon.

QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Jul 17 2008, 12:20 PM) huh I'm also using 17" that time (205/45/17) not really dare to challenge them on highway..but if outside highway...through old road, i sure challenge them...beat BMW Ci b4 at old road from rembau heading to alor gajah but my cps really need to change the suspension...always `buang` when taking corners... feel that the tyre is going every direction Is it true if change just the coil spring to sport lowered one (35mm lowered than stock) can settle the 'buang' or floating prob? |
