i suggest if u really want this out, make sure your area is within the covered area..
if u are more than one or two street away, u will only be getting a orange light on the basestation and thats around 100kbps or less depending..
i'm technically one street away from the coverage area but i can still get green light if i put the base station near the window and high up.

it all depends on the coverage area..

btw, do u think it will reach penang by the end of the year ?

Fuyoh, The customer service for P1 is way way better than Izzi, i log a call last week and they return my call this morning telling me they have rectify the problem and will follow up again tomolo and see if the issue still persist. Very impress with their customer service.. Its heaven compared to IZZi who dont even bother to call you back.

Super Speed for HTTP Download, Online Video Streaming (eg. Youtube) and surfing. But definitely not P2P as only get 1/3 of the plan speed for 1.2Mbps which is around 50-60KB/s.

Why are you still subscribe when you know your house is outside of the coverage area?

Anyone tested this under severe weather condition? E.g. Heavy rains, cloudy days, thunderstorm and etc? Signal strength remain strong or it drop? Connectivity under severe weather how?

Will someone please do a traceroute and winMTR test to this IP 72.5.213.2?

I would like to see the reliability of the hops and ping speed.

i hope even they are not like ISP providers in aust.

they give you hell of a slow speed after reaching the limit.

I have been using P1 for a couple of days. Am enjoying the speed but the only issue at the moment I am facing is the frequent modem hangs. Am planning on making a complaint tomorrow on this. Should be a modem fault I am guessing.. sad.gif

Also to add to their technical support. Just 2 words to describe them. TOTALLY AWESOME!!

They call when they say they would, even with answers or without and reschedule a callback and callback right on the dot. This is what I call support!
Hope it stays this way!

Yeah, the same in Russia. 20gb limit is definitely too little, especially when it includes upload bandwidth too.

I believe you can buy additional quota once your 20GB is reached. It's all the money issue.

You should call their customer service and request swap of your CPE, don't waste your own time, right?. How do you know the modem hangs?
