Does the WIMAX technology safe? By hearing about microwave I have been scared. Will I get cancel if expose to the WIMAX signal?

hm, for jaring case, the IP can be assigned to us almost for 3 months and there should be no changes. Regarding overheating, yeah, I'm actually a heavy downloader and user. Jaring doesn't throttle P2P so I'm very happy with it.

Remote control is different, they use infrared. Cellphone and other devices are actually harmful to our body cells due to radioactivity. In physics, the emission actually generates heat on the skin. That's all the harmfulness of cellphone. I don't think it is wrong that scientist says it's false. It is definitely true.

Depending on the point of view, some might say it false, why? Because they want money. They are hired to say "It is not harmful". Same goes for da milk. Last time people say Mother's milk no good, Cow milk is better. Now totally opposite.

Today morning 9.15am, I had called the P1 Technical Support. While they answer my question about the IP address.
They said that the P1 W1max currently is using Static IP Address. It needs to set inside the modem. Hence, every time you reboot your modem, the IP will stick with the modem without release.

Besides, while I ask 2nd question about the Personal & Business Plan spec are same. It just the Business plan will entitle to have 1st priority to the customer service and the quality of service. Besides, personal plan is a 2nd or the last priority of their service. (Is it the speed of Business entitled to 1st Priority?)

Furthermore, when I ask about the overheat modem. They mention if try user burn the modem have to pay RM1, 500.00, while registered user will entitle to have 1 year warranty for the modem. If try user on try period burn the modem must pay and the registered user after 1 year warranty have to purchase 2nd modem RM999.00

Nationwide Access, they explained as while we travel to other state. Such as, from KL or Selangor you travel to Melaka, Penang or Others if got coverage. If we subscribe to Promotion Packages on 12 month or 24 month term the RM10 is waves.

If signed the contract you must use for 12 or 24 month according the contract. If you want Unsubscribe you need to pay the rest of the remaining month. P1 advice that you don’t unsubscribe their service, If you Unsubscribe you still had to pay. (It sound like ah long)

About the monthly bandwidth, P1 said that currently there is no monthly bandwidth yet. The 20Gb is just a rumor according to their Technical Department.

Activation fee = RM50.00
Stamp Duty = RM10.00

Packages fee = RM89 per month for 1.2Mbps for 2 years Subscribe
1st Month Pay:
=RM249 without Technical Installation

1st Month Pay:
= RM359 without Technical Installation


Optional:
Fengsui master come to your house install the modem = RM80.00
If needed just call P1 & they will arrange for you

Ha..? Fengshui master need meh..... lame la, it's just plug and play I wonder why need fengshui master, better find a good reception by ourself .

Lol, I don't think they have those device. Not sure, maybe they do have, if they are really professionals la. But look at TM's technician, even the user knows more than them.

Hard to compare probably they might provide better service.

yes, fengshui master will install for you. The will look for best location to get best signal. Don't worry about the "greenman". He is there to provide you good signal. :lol

Anyway, anyone tried in kepong area? How is the speed and stability?

just 2 or 1 minute walk to go to the college

it's true wimax need a very high cost to startup. Something like astro. If success only will start to make money. A lot of friends told me Australia's wimax implementation failed already.

Let's hope P1 will make it successful. For me, if signal is stable then I will sign-up. Must stop tmnet from monopoly.
