Hello ladies and gentlemen~

I just bought myself a keyboard recently.... Love it soooo much. I want it to last as long as possible.

Therefore, i would like to ask all of you here for some tips of taking care of a keyboard.

Thanks biggrin.gif

that is nice..... taking care would be :- no water please, get a lightning arrestor, dont drop, get a dust cover, dust as frequent as possible.

as long as possible, well life expectancy of any digital/electronic related is usually shorter than acoustics. but there are exceptional cases, where they do last very long time :- ) hv fun...

hello. i've been interested to play the piano since small but never got the chance/money to do so. sad.gif

I have a keyboard at home (with lesser keys), and i cant really play it, lol. I was thinking to get piano lessons but it's out of my budget since i'm still a student.

Do you guys think it's possible to learn how to play piano without attending the class? I'd love to learn from someone but nobody would teach for free. (practical and theory lessons) I tried on youtube but it's very hard for me to follow. :/

I'm 20 this year btw.

hey fellow keyboardist, just wanna know whether is it possible to extend the 'output' port of a keyboard? For example, if i were to perform on stage, and i need to connect my keyboard to the amplifier and a monitor, i need two ports. But my keyboard has only 1 port.

Is there anything like "port splitter"? or something like that?

Thanks XD

you can learn by urself, but i'll be hard. Besides, u might learned a wrong method. Its best if u could attend piano class.
If u really wanna learn theory, i suggest Lina Ng's theory text book, cause there are explainations but less exercise.
Try approach any of ur music friends to help guide u too.
HOpe this helps

That is the model that I wanted before I actually bought my Digital Piano.
Anyway I think you might be able to gain some insights from this thread smile.gif

Despite being 25, I am taking what a beginner class to be considered =)
I played for like the past 3 years, but without a good fundamental.. you just cant go far..

Just bite the bullet and start from fundamental again.. Just to realise kids song is nice too
