I think it's very good among low end models, unless u can get a good quality 2nd hand one.
For the price you cant expect too much more, it's very expensive business in music instrument, I wished I can afford an acoustic piano but the price is so steep

Depends one. Especially on your practice and material you use. when you say 15 pages...wad do you mean? if you are able to practice the next 15 pages of the material you are using then I think you should do something tougher than what you are doing. Normally for beginner, Just get hanon and practice 10 minutes everyday on an exercise and go to the new one after a week and same thing...practice 10 minutes and repeating it for 10 or 20 minutes if you have the time. It normally takes one year to finish grade 1 provided your basics had reach the required level. But your teacher would have teach you based on how much you can adapt.

I know some one who can finish Grade 5 in half a year so Grade 1 in half a year shouldn't be a problem. Just practice more according to your teacher's method and trust your teacher always. Doubting him/her will make your learning meaningless. 

But some teacher are not really music or artistic type, they are like forced to learn music when they are young.  Hence, they won't know much about music background and histories. 

Classical pieces shouldn't played with pedal but she insist, just like my teacher.  I can't play or proceed my grade without any skeptics.

First, please forgive me for asking a very basic and silly question.

I have just started my piano lesson lately.

My teacher teachs me : "music scale (symbols); "music note (C,D,E,F,G,A,B etc)"; fingering (1-5).

My question and confusion: -

While trying to play a piece of music, shall i interprete the music scale (symbols) into :
- music note like C,D,E or
- fingering position like 1,2,3
to play the music?

Hello every seniors here,
today I attended piano class again.  My teacher did me an overall conclusion of myself. 

She kept on saying my 手力 is uneven, I don't know what it's called in English... Maybe she was saying my intonation ?  Next is that my both hand are not tally,  they are like 2 individuals who tried to race at the same tempo throughout the song, if one made a slip, the other won't wait and just kept on playing.  I guess this can be tackled by more practices. 

I just don't understand how to cope with the 'intonation', 'interpretation'... I don't understand what are these.  And how to do it.  She always says 'Control your left hand.' , 'Control your right hand'.  I just don't understand.  When I asked, she says something about interpretation and intonation... 

Any seniors would like to lend me a hand?  I'm seriously in need of help!
