Kudos Maxis. I'm pretty impressed with their Customer Support Team. They managed to resolve my issue in less then 24 hours and they waived my termination fee and July's month fee. I've to say so far Maxis is best in terms of customer support. They still have a long way to go in improving their broadband service and making it reliable for users !

Wrong. the contract period is 12 months. 12 months is a year. Hence the contact period is meant for a year only. After that you can terminate without paying RM 200 fees !

i think you better advised your brother to terminate mbb ,while you still have your cooling period, cause that's not the only problem. even you had a good speed then they throttle down the speed after you exceed 3 or 5 gb of usage, that what their customer service told me and that what's happen to me .i signed up for this basic 384 mb package average speed, ok for me, but somehow my usage is about 10 gb then suddenly i only got 100 kpbs or less. ask the customer support, then only i know what happen. let's start a campaign to "NO TO MAXIS BB" before anybody else get cheated

The Big size modem isn't portable. It depends on you , if you're just using it to surf the Internet , then i would say then RM 68 package would do the trick. But then if you just want to have the extra vroom , then go ahead and pay extra 30 ringgit for the 3.6Mbps package if you want faster speeds on downloading and other things
