QUOTE(cracksys @ Jul 7 2008, 09:08 AM) so, did you able to play CoD4 on this connection? Nope. My computer can't support CoD4. I used cmd to ping to bvpn server.I even lag on W3. Which explains alot. |

That shows how bullsh*t maxis is.
I tried playing in Garena, play halfway, dc from server. Play Hamachi, couldn't even connect to friends... Spread the word... don't let anyone regret using their crappy service. |

QUOTE(ZiYi @ Jul 14 2008, 12:55 AM) To be fair, it depends of your requirement. For online game, bursty packet is definately unacceptable. My experience is totally different from yours. But for me, I work alone far away from my home town and rent a single room. The only time I can sit down and use internet is during the night time. Thus streamy is not for me. As a result, I subscribe the unlimited 99 as a VAS to my voice plan so that I can email and browsing on the road. I have to say, despite the bursty nature of the packet, it is very fast. Watching streaming video is awsome, and much much faster than 1M streamyx. Using 3.6mbps package, got less than half of what they advertised. Streaming videos on YouTube is slow and frustrating. Uploading stuff is a nightmare as most of the time Maxshit offers upload speed of 56kbps (at par with dial up connections). Online gaming? Hohoho... with 3 digit ping, I'll teleport everywhere man. Downloading MechCommander Gold (about 600mb) took about a week to finish download. (and yes, it's a freeware now) I find 1mbps snailmyx faster than this. |

QUOTE(bulibulizaimon @ Jul 15 2008, 10:36 PM) I asked my friend which using that package to ping to that local server and got 100ms average. Just wanna know izzit playable or not. For some gamers, yes. For me, no. I'm guessing that your friend ping to bvpn server (202.71.97.81). Coz when I ping there I also got around 100 ping on average. But sometimes, the ping jumps to 1k+. |

QUOTE(jimmyyap @ Jul 17 2008, 01:47 AM) The ping is too high.... as usual Hmmm.... Singapore server... not bad. I've pinged to local server and my 3.6mbps package always gimme less than half the advertised speed. This post has been edited by Luftwacko: Jul 17 2008, 12:23 PM |

Hey guys, I'm using ZTE MF600 modem (3.6mbps package). I was wondering if it's possible to use my sim card and insert into Huawei E220 modem and still able go online?

My connection is uber slow nowadays...
Ping to hotmail.com = 4309ms!!!! Ping to lowyat.net = 1k+ ms!!!! I think I'll blame it on PC Fair... got new customers to serve. Why do you have to OVERSTRETCH your capability Maxsh*t??? Why bother promoting your product if you can't even satisfy your current customers???? P.S: It took me took more than 10 mins to upload the damn pic....
