as i noe, if u are using the modem less than 1year. u must pay RM200 for the termination. but after 1year usage, no need to pay...
it is like a f*****g contract...

No, they don't have the license for WiMAX (yet!). But don't think they will.

even now their service is kind of lousy...dont ever think they can offer a new services

or i got to subscribe for one year on stop it. To slow la Maxis...

KNN disconnected from their service everytime i want to use since saturday. apalah MAX SHIT

so far i think things have improved in my area. i re-subscribed maxis yesterday or probably its due to their rubbish modem.

initially i subscribe to rm68 package with rubbish modem when it was lauched. totally unusable. then i returned it after 2 weeks.

yesterday i re-subscribe to 138 package, the usb modem package out of necessity as i frequently travel and need an internet connection.
so far, i tried accessing at steven's corner at ampang, it did not work.
in my room, its working which the rubbish modem don't.

average speeds around 900-1000kbps. top speed so far is 1.2mbps.
downloads from rapidshare goes smooth.

is it possible for me to downgrade from USB package to ZTE modem?

The story begin....
4 week before CNY at 2007(HOPING CAN GET BEFORE CNY)... me thinking"BELA" Maxis ana conda.. me go to one of dealer at penang(near fortune court). Went me register they going take 2 week for modem to arrived than i say ok... No Problem.. Than after 2week, me calling and ask regarding this modem, and the say"OOOHhh Sorry Mister, our TECHNICIAN is so busy... so he will attend after 2 week later(ME THINKING WTF!!)), than of cos me feel angry and call ana conda tol free(IT CHARGE ME DAM EXPENSIVE DUE ME USE 016). they dear sir.. the modem supposed install to after 2week and the bill already started atfer 2 week after u apply(ME SAY WHAT! STARTED BY MY STUPID TECHINICIAN GOING INSTALL 2 week more mean me going lose 2 week time), they say Yes sir.. but we will ask the dealer to make to u ASAP! than 3 day pass. no call frm them.. once more.. call in they say dear sir.. how about u call dealer yourself. because it out of our field to ask them to install to u(WTH! SO THE ANA CONDA PAID U TO SOLVE CUSTOMER PROBLEM? AND U ALL CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!) than FINE, me call dealer.. the dealer say sorry sir, technician now at ROAD FAIR.. so busy.. than my anger started, forget that dam technician, me install MYSELF.. SO ME PICKUP MYSELF THIS EVENING! than say OK SURE! BUT WE CHARGE INSTALL FEES AS WELL..(OO ME INSTALL MYSELF U GET FEES ALSO(DAY TIME ROBBERY).. than me install using.. if ok for 6 Month than me cannot On9.. me keep Disconnect EACH 5min. than me call Anaconda HQ than they say, DEAR SIR OUR SERVER AND NO PROBLEM AT ALL.. it maybe your PC, than fine.. me change my laptop and TRY but the same, call in ANaconda HQ again. SIR maybe modem problem how about u make report modem FAULTY, let them techinician fix for u. me say nvm.. me double check first but GOD! third day.. me call in and sorry sir our server at penang FLOODING!!! me say WTF me call in for 3 day than u all SO PRO say no problem but only TODAY U SAY THIS DAM THING HAPPEN!

NOT ONLY THAT MY MODEM FAULTY AFTER 1 YEARS. MY SPEED DROPING LIKE HELL.. ME UPGRADE 384 TO 640 THAN 3.6MBPS IN 4 MONTH. NO IMPROVE AT ALL.. ME CALL IN ASKING REGARDING THIS MATTER, IT WILL CALL ME REGARDING THIS RESULT WITHIN 3 DAY BUT HELL.. HOW LONG THEY NEED CALL ME BACK... 3 MONTH. JUST GET THE CALL LAST FEW DAY.. SO GOOD SERVICES... NOWDAY ME FACING DISCONNECT AFTER AWHILE(ABOUT 1 HOURS OR 45MINUTES) AND ME USING FOR 1 YEARS+ BUT EVERYTIME UPGRADE CONTRACT IS RENEW.. ohh god.. my speed is not bad BUT ME KEEP DISCONNTECT! HAIZZ LAZY ALREADU WITH MAXIS.. HOPING WIMAX IN HERE AT PENANG!

Yosh just to share my connection here, got it from Maxis center promotion girl with 7 days trialby paying 100, i got to return it after a week, so try on my area see how is the speed....here it is

I don't want to comment about the speed but the stupid modem DISCONNECT itself every half an hour although I am surfing. ~!!!

I think I will migrate to P1 if they don't DC that often ~!!!

I personally have good connection speed from them. Running on HSDPA most of the time on the Power Mobile package.

However, i do afree with waif. I am facing disconnection issues lately. Whether i am surfing or not, it just disconnect itself and i need to reconnect again.
